Publisher's summary

Ghislaine de Lorgny wants just one thing in this life: revenge on the man who destroyed her life. Nicholas Blackthorne wants two things: to keep Ghislaine from killing him and to get her into his bed. Kidnapping her and taking her, kicking and screaming, across half of Europe is only the beginning of their adventures. He has a black heart and a remorseless soul; she has fierce determination and a score to settle.

A Rose at Midnight - Anne Stuart

I love Anne Stuart's books, and this is no different. Unfortunately, the narrator cannot hold an English accent to save her soul. It completely ruins this book for me and it is taking everything I have to continue listening. She should stay with books that don't require an accent.
