Publisher's summary

In his previous work, A More Christlike God, Brad Jersak looked to the incarnation of Jesus Christ to reveal the true nature of God as self-giving, radically forgiving, compassionate love. In this follow-up audiobook, after deconstructing four counterfeit ways, Jersak explores seven facets of the Jesus Way. Christ's radical revelation of true humanity beckons us, "Would you be human? Take up your cross and follow me."

Great Work!!

Such a great book! Bradley Jersak’s books are always so great!! The narrator’s voice was very appealing; he is very gifted! Jersak’s work does a great job helping us digest Christianity and work it into our lives. You don’t even have to be a religious person to benefit from Jersak’s work! His work really puts us in perspective and keeps us aware of our faults.

The tone of narration doesn't match content

I wonder if Mr. Jersey is as angry as the narrator makes him sound. He also seems to mispronounce a number of words. The content of the book is excellent.

Incongruent Narration

The book has such an important message for humans about the beauty of living a more Christlike way, but the narration from the very beginning had such a scolding tone, I had to stop listening to the audible version.
I have heard most of Bradley Jersak’s YouTube teachings over the years, knowing him as a humble and teachable speaker. This audible narrator’s tonal sermonizing is why I left Churchianity for the More Christlike Way Brad is explaining in a more beautiful gospel.

A good book terribly read

Great content and powerful writing but the reader doesn’t come close to hitting the tone of the book. It is melodramatic and somehow disconcerting where it ought not be. The narration is terribly distracting. Couldn’t listen.

WRONG NARRATOR!

I love Bradley Jersak's books. I will buy the hard copy. I couldn't make it through the first chapter with this narrator. He is simultaneously monotone and combative.

Good Book, Terrible Narator

The narrator sounds so angry that I couldn't even finish listening. I had to go get a paper copy. Reading it, the author doesn't sound anything like how the narration made it sound. I have listened to other works by this author and enjoyed them a lot. I recommend reading the book, but don't waste your time on this version.
