A Bride for Adam

Greta always had feelings for Adam, but it was His brother Seth that married her. When Seth passed away, leaving Greta pregnant, his parents convinced Adam to enter into a proxy marriage. After 4 years of being out to sea, and not returning home, Greta decides to annul the marriage and move on with her life. Will Adam make it back in time, and is there even a marriage worth saving?

If you’re looking for a clean, sweet inspirational romance, look no further. Barbara Goss delivers a touching story that will leave you feeling quite content.

J. Scott Bennett is a marvelous narrator. He truly brings the story to life.

It’s a sweet romance story! Proxy marriage – would it be annulled? Is there a chance for love for Greta and Adam?

Two Brothers, One Bride

Greta has loved Adam since she was thirteen, however his love is the sea and his ship. Adams’ brother Seth falls in love with Greta and they marry, only to have him die on their wedding night. When Greta finds herself with child, her in-laws insist Adam marry her by proxy. After four years of being married to Adam without ever seeing him Greta is lonely and files for an annulment. What ensues is romantic, funny with some intrigue thrown in. You need to read this book to see the twists and turns. As always Barb Goss entertains at the highest level, J Scott Bennett is an excellent narrator. I highly recommend!

I was wrong, in a good way

At first I read the synopsis of his book and thought, nope, I don't think I will like it. Why? Well because the hero is a seaman and loves his life on a ship. I is just not my thing. HOWEVER. I got the audio and listened to it. I loved it! Why did I doubt a Barbara Goss book?! I really loved it. It was unique and interesting. I loved the characters and the way the story progressed. A few twists and turns was great as well. I should have got this book as soon as I saw who the author was instead of giving my preconceived notions on what the the story would be like. Highly recommended.

This is awesome!

I very rarely say that about a story but this one is so individual in the story itself that made it interesting and not the same ol same ol. The author deals with depression over bring “handicapped “ anger/frustration/fear over not knowing what her future holds for her because if her past. The author includes a trip on a ship and pirates. A stalker and what come out of that. The reading if scripture And most of all brought someone to Jesus before they passed. So much into this made it a story you don’t want to put down.
It does mention “consummating” and “love making” so if your advantage preteen reader hasn’t been “ introduced “ to that then this wouldn’t be good for them. But if not then this is a wonderful book for anyone.

Second Chance at Love

To lose a loved one, and now with child, to have a marriage of proxy.
He is off at sea, the family just want to keep the child in family. Hopefully her luck turns better. Good series and narration.
