Finley Donovan is a fun series to get away in.
Easily relatable characters in a series of interconnected detective plots, work stress, and dealing with family. You should skip reading this or other reviews and go enjoy this book series and you will be killing it too.

Fun series
I loved the first book and was so excited to find out it was a 3 book series! The story is good, with many twists and unpredictable situations. The main character was fun and somewhat relatable as a mom and I enjoyed the side characters too. My only complaint is the way the actor did the male voices! My god! Towards the end I hated the male detective and the ex husband just based on the way she would do their voices. The male detective is always trying to be sultry and sexy but it’s too much! Just have a normal conversation voice! Very unbelievable and I would get creeped out if a man in real life constantly spoke like that…just ew. I’m struggling to finish the 2nd book and I think I’ll read the 3rd.
