Critic reviews

“The journey to sainthood for these colorful characters ranges from unjustly tragic...to humorously improbable...with enchanting, full-color illustrations that evoke medieval books of hours.” (Kirkus)

Short stories of how Saints got their Sainthoods

Great complimentary short stories to the Grishaverse's Saints. This is a collection of very short stories, so if you were expecting deeper tales with character build ups, that's not what this is. It's still very enjoyable, especially if you're curious about all the saints mentioned throughout Leigh Bardugo's books. I liked all the additional books/novellas that compliment the Grishaverse. Ben Barnes has a narrative voice that is quite captivating and pleasurable to listen to. I'd love to hear him narrate more stories!Lauren Fortgang does a great job as always :)

Short tales

I really enjoyed learning the Grishaverse folktales of Saints. Each chapter features a different saint in a short story. The narrators are brilliant in their delivery. My only complaint is that there isn’t more. I could listen to these all day.

Nice compilation

This was a great collection of short stories. I liked it better than language of thorns. It was a good finish to the series

Absolutely loved the darker versions of the stories we listened to as children. Lauren Fortgang & Ben Barnes make listening to these wonderful stories pure bliss.
