Great Series but New Narrator Disappoints
This new Ann Cleves series is incredible, but I prefer the original narrator, who gave a more nuanced performance. This narrator was more staccato and rigid.

twists and turns
The author includes many twists, and turns I always think I can determine the villain I am always pleased went Ann Cleeves gets the better of me. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I’m drawn in every time
This author and her performers have my number. I am drawn in every time. This book and performance were no exception. I just do not buy the climax. I don’t regret listening and if you have listened to every Vera Stanhope and every Shetland book, you will enjoy this one too but maybe not as much.
