Very cute love story. Relatable characters. Narrator is excellent. Themes of family, independence, fairness and doing the right thing.

Better than I expected

Enjoyed reading the book...made my run go so much quicker. Kudos to Evelyn for writing!

Grew on me

The narrator was not that great but I stuck with it and it ended up a pretty good listen. Great story line.

The Worst Accents

This narrator had the worst accents ever. I was soooooo confused. Why did Gabriela sound like a man?.... And the story was only slightly better, I would not recommend. Trust me, save your credit

grossly misogynistic!!

this book was so misogynistic I was ready to quit on it several times. The main male character spent most of the book disrespecting Angel and looking at her as if she was a piece of meat not that Angel was much better. Then the book actually validated those types of behaviors! It was nothing but a gross show of misogyny!
