Great sarcasm and loads of information, too

I wish I could remember all the details that I learned. I hope, at least, I'll remember all of the shattered myths, such as about Joan of Arc and other famous characters. The book was fascinating and I wish I learned history with such an entertaining teacher. There is no doubt that the narrator added to the pleasure - his tone did the sarcasm full justice! I loved it, and I'm not even English (but I am American, so, there's plenty fun for us Yanks, too). If you think you know history, you might want to check what you learned by listening to this book. I highly recommend it. I'd love to hear a post-Brexit sequel. Are the French laughing now?
