More than 75 years ago, J.R.R. Tolkien wrote The Hobbit simply to entertain his children. The story of a small, sheltered creature who embarks on a sweeping adventure, along with its three-part sequel The Lord of the Rings, would go on to reinvent the fantasy genre. To this day, Bilbo Baggins' journey "there and back again" continues in the hearts and imaginations of millions of readers, moviegoers, art and music lovers, and, now, listeners.
