I have liked everything Christopher Moore has done so far but this book. I found the humor to be stale and uninspired and the story was to close to biblical gladhanding and not the sarcasm and wit that I expected.
This was one of the worst books I've listened to. The story had a tiny bit of mystery/action mixed into the larger story of a totally inane love story. The main character was a robot and totally unlikeable.
This is NOT a good mystery. This is a love story and a bad one at that.
I was very excited to listen to this book having quite enjoyed Ken Follet's other books. Unfortunately, this book read like a cheap harlequin novel with just enough history intermixed to make it bearable. The characters were totally uninspiring and I found myself not caring at all what happened to them. I could not finish this book.
