The people of High Moor are united in horror at the latest tragedy to befall their small town. As dawn breaks, the town is left to count the cost and mourn its dead, while breathing a collective sigh of relief. John Simpson, the apparent perpetrator of the horrific murders, is in police custody. The nightmare is over. Isn't it? Detective Inspector Phil Fletcher and his partner, Constable Olivia Garner, have started to uncover some unsettling evidence during their investigations of John Simpson's past - evidence that supports his impossible claims: that he is a werewolf....

James says: "More bite than bark."
"Just Wow, a werewolf story you don't want to miss."

What made the experience of listening to High Moor 2: Moonstruck the most enjoyable?

I had already previously read moonstruck but got the chance to get the audio version for free and I jumped at the chance. Listening to it brought the the story to life and it was a completely different experience than reading it. I enjoyed the fact I could get on with my jobs while listening to a great story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like John, a werewolf who is just trying to survive with as little bloodshed as possible, hating what he is but having to try and embrace it to save those close to him. I also really like Connie, a werewolf with a lust for revenge and is not afraid to literally rip apart those who stand in her way.

What does Chris Barnes bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He was able to bring the characters to life, his narrative was very clear and his acting gave something to the characters making them more real than if you were just to read it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Werewolves with ALOT of bite

    Any additional comments?

If you read high moor and enjoyed it then the second book in this trilogy is a must read, it's every bit as exciting, bloody and fast paced as it's predecessor and definitely won't disappointment a fan.
