What did you like best about The Demonologist? What did you like least?

    the reader

What could Gerald Brittle have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

he should have provided a set of proofs -- the claims were too fantastic to be believable and if this really happens, we'd all know about it.

Have you listened to any of Todd Haberkorn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No

    Any additional comments?

The Warrens are probaly very nice people -- but their imagination and the way they present the story is not credible nor is it backed up by evidence presneted i the book.

A job more suitable to a private detective but a job that leads him to Nadia, a former client, a fascinating woman with an ambiguous past and to the tempting Caterina, Manuela's best friend, exquisitely too young for the jaded Guerrieri...

What disappointed you about Temporary Perfections: Guido Guerrieri Series, Book 4?

too slow... the story seems to center on the missing of a girl but the main character gets involved with two peripheral women and the story bogs down such a pace that the tortoise wins every single race

What was most disappointing about Gianrico Carofiglio’s story?

Get on withthe missing girl part ... yes, i know that Guido is sexually deprived but for gods sake sleep with someone and tell us the main story.

What about Sean Barrett’s performance did you like?

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment after listening to the prior three novels which were superior

Now they come to one of the most tumultuous eras of all: the enormous social, political, and economic turmoil of the 1960s through the 1980s, from civil rights, assassinations, mass political movements and Vietnam to the Berlin Wall, the Cuban Missile Crisis, presidential impeachment, revolution - and rock and roll.

What did you love best about Edge of Eternity?

This is the conclusion of the triology. Ken Follet has done the 20th century proud. The families we have seen grow form children thru adults and into old age are true to life, 3-dimensional characters.

    Thank you Ken

What was one of the most memorable moments of Edge of Eternity?

The Berline wall that dominates the book and the Cuban Missile crisis that shows just how close we came to being toast!

Have you listened to any of John Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and excellent -- he is one of the very best

Seth Hubbard is a wealthy man dying of lung cancer. He trusts no one. Before he hangs himself from a sycamore tree, Hubbard leaves a new, handwritten, will. It is an act that drags his adult children, his black maid, and Jake into a conflict as riveting and dramatic as the murder trial that made Brigance one of Ford County's most notorious citizens, just three years earlier. The second will raises far more questions than it answers. Why would Hubbard leave nearly all of his fortune to his maid? Had chemotherapy and painkillers affected his ability to think clearly?

We will miss Tom Clancy... but we have Mark Greaney who, hopefully, will carry-on. This is an especially complex novel reminiscent of the early books such as Executive Orders etc. Very well done a certainly worth re-listening to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Command Authority?

The opening battle scene. Jack Jr.'s coming out party in the Carribean. Oaxly's intonations and saltiness

Which character – as performed by Lou Diamond Phillips – was your favorite?

    Oaxly

In this epic, beautifully written masterwork, Pulitzer Prize–winning author Isabel Wilkerson chronicles one of the great untold stories of American history: the decades-long migration of black citizens who fled the South for northern and western cities in search of a better life. From 1915 to 1970, this exodus of almost six million people changed the face of America. Wilkerson interviewed more than a thousand people, and gained access to previously untapped data and official records, to write this definitive and vividly dramatic account of how these American journeys unfolded, altering our cities, our country, and ourselves.
