he should have provided a set of proofs -- the claims were too fantastic to be believable and if this really happens, we'd all know about it.
The Warrens are probaly very nice people -- but their imagination and the way they present the story is not credible nor is it backed up by evidence presneted i the book.
Pretty high on the four year history grade
Any good Clancy
Yes and he is best in these kinds of fast action, high adventure books
Not a moving book rather a good "cold"war story
ready for the next!
Mary -- very believeable character
Not emphasize the Italian loud talking so much
No... it was even throughout
I decided to try another Scottoline book becasue of this one
too slow... the story seems to center on the missing of a girl but the main character gets involved with two peripheral women and the story bogs down such a pace that the tortoise wins every single race
Get on withthe missing girl part ... yes, i know that Guido is sexually deprived but for gods sake sleep with someone and tell us the main story.
he has done a grand job -- how did he survive the text?
disappointment after listening to the prior three novels which were superior
This is the conclusion of the triology. Ken Follet has done the 20th century proud. The families we have seen grow form children thru adults and into old age are true to life, 3-dimensional characters.
Thank you Ken
The Berline wall that dominates the book and the Cuban Missile crisis that shows just how close we came to being toast!
Yes and excellent -- he is one of the very best
Thank you John
You cannot do that -- its 40+ hours
I cant wait for the 21st century!
C'mon Ken crank that old typewriter!
Clever and intricate plot
It is a continuation of the same story line. Frankly i knew exactly what the end would be becasue i was led there before.
Good characterization -- even good American english -- as well as Kings's
See you next movie!
Archer is a very competant author. Why he needs to taunt his readers is beyond me... Just finsh one story completely
A lit major in college
the prose was too arcane
yes ... but more upbeat
none -- sorry no Cigar!
Needed a bit more interaction by the community. A Time To Kill was so engrosing that i guess it was impossible for Grisham to meet the challenge. I think the end was obvious
Briganst is back
Needed more but it wasnt going to appear
We will miss Tom Clancy... but we have Mark Greaney who, hopefully, will carry-on. This is an especially complex novel reminiscent of the early books such as Executive Orders etc. Very well done a certainly worth re-listening to.
The opening battle scene. Jack Jr.'s coming out party in the Carribean. Oaxly's intonations and saltiness
Made me want more
Would like to know if Mark will indeed carry on?
The story was trivial! and very, very obvious!
so we have to wait becasue of the hanger ending ... so what ---that just means renting another audio download. SO why dont we all say'"OK Jeffrey we'll buy your books, now make them interesting!!!!!"
C'mon -- the whole trial thing was overplayed
Yea... end the book --- dont put in a saturday afternoon at the cinima serial cliff-hanger!
it is a good history and a disturbing story. but i wish it were told more linearly -- too many interruptions in one stroy line to catch up with another
very well read by the reader
no -- it is really better to sit back and absorb our sordid history and treatment of our brothers and sisters
