Lady Grace Warren will do anything to protect her sisters, even betroth herself to a man so depraved that all of London fears him. Faced with a lifetime of misery, Grace has only one chance for escape: to relinquish her virtue before her wedding. Such abandon will destroy her reputation - and ensure her freedom. But when she disguises herself as courtesan to lure a handsome nobleman, she cannot anticipate the tender surprise destiny has in store….

What disappointed you about Intimate Deception?

the voices of the men in this book were ridiculous... I actually cant work out if the story was terrible or the reading.. but it was practically embarrassing

What could Laura Landon have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I possibly would have read this book to the end, the premise of the story was as expected.. nothing amazing, but as expected..

How could the performance have been better?

The gruffness of the male parts was stupid, unbelievable and inappropriate. Just nauseating and lame

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Intimate Deception?

I didnt waste my time finishing..glad I didnt pay full price for this

    Any additional comments?

    Nope..

For almost a quarter of a century, John Grisham's A Time to Kill has captivated readers and listeners with its raw exploration of race, retribution, and justice. Now, its hero, Jake Brigance, returns to the courtroom in a dramatic showdown as Ford County again confronts its tortured history. Filled with the intrigue, suspense and plot twists that are the hallmarks of the world's favourite storyteller, Sycamore Row is the thrilling story of the elusive search for justice in a small American town.

What did you love best about Sycamore Row?

I loved the mystery, the secrets and trying to work them out. I love Grishams twists

    Any additional comments?

The fact that it is a "sequel' Is fairly irrelevant. Grisham has used some of the same lead characters, but the story stands alone.

Given the importance of what they do and the controversies that often surround them, and the violent people they sometimes confront, it is remarkable that in the history of the USA only four active federal judges have been murdered. Judge Raymond Fawcett just became number five. His body was found in the small basement of a lakeside cabin he had built himself and frequently used on weekends. When he did not show up for a trial on Monday morning, his law clerks panicked, called the FBI, and in due course the agents found the crime scene. There was no forced entry, no struggle, just two dead bodies

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

    Beautiful, Raw, Honest

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Fault in Our Stars?

Hazels confrontation with her Mom towards the end, the realisation that they ALL knew what was happening. The raw honesty made me weep.

What does Kate Rudd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved her blunt teen language. I loved her sarcasm and dry dark humour.

In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

Since the introduction of dietary guidelines calling for reduced fat intake in the 1970s, a strange phenomenon has occurred: Americans have steadily, inexorably become heavier, less healthy, and more prone to diabetes than ever before. After putting more than two thousand of his at-risk patients on a wheat-free regimen and seeing extraordinary results, cardiologist William Davis has come to the disturbing conclusion that it is not fat, not sugar, not our sedentary lifestyle that is causing America’s obesity epidemic—it is wheat.
