RITA Award winner Irene Hannon has also won the Holt Medallion for her romantic suspense. In this pulse-pounding thriller, the White House orders elite FBI operator Evan Cooper to secure Monica Callahan from a terrorist threat. But since Monica refuses all calls from her senior diplomat father, she sees no need for his round-the- clock protection—until a chilling “message” leaves no doubt.

Would you try another book from Irene Hannon and/or Stevie Ray Dallimore?

I knew that this book had a Christian base and I was open to it but it was a little too back and white. The feelings expressed between the 2 main characters were too simplistic. I like the plot, the romance and the characters more developed and complicated. I listened to 3/4 of the book hoping it would get better. Usually a book pulls me in and I can't stop reading or listening but with this one I found that I was just passing the time. It feels more like a bad made for tv movie. Pretty predictable. I'm really surprised at the high reviews.

The only good thing that came from it has been seeing Sean again, but now that he's in front of her, she doesn't want to let him go. What other book might you compare The Ferro Family: The Arrangement 10 to and why?

50 Shades of Grey with a lot less bondage. Typical broken girl finds broken man and they are perfect for each other. Sorry line is now getting a little preposterous at this point but still I find myself "glued to my phone." The definition of guilty pleasure. Pretty hot sex scenes though.

Have you listened to any of Kitty Bang’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Kitty Bang is great as narrator. (Is that her stripper name?)

In defense of her honor, innocent Leda Etoile has burned all her bridges and taken refuge in her tiny attic room in a shabby boarding house in London. But her last safe haven is invaded when she wakes to find a man hidden in the dark - a man with golden hair and the face of a fallen angel, who moves in the night like a shadow. Will he be her savior, or her ruin? Samuel Gerard draws her inexorably into the richest circles of aristocratic England. But even as Leda falls in love with a man she can never have, she must keep his secrets.

Would you listen to The Shadow and the Star again? Why?

Loved it! Just enough romance and good story line. Once I started, I could not shut it off even though I should have been getting other things done.
