I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Tom Clancy, Brad Thor or Lee Child. If you like any of those books, you will LOVE Mitch Rapp.
One caveat on this book. You really should read all the books prior to understand this story completely.
Fast in the beginning, intriguing in the middle, and all out awesome in the end!
I live his style. His voice is rough, smooth, and perfect.
Yes, but I don't want to spoil the story.
The only issue with Mitch Rapp books is that they end. I wish there were 100 of these books. Vince Flynn books are the kind that I start and I find myself making time to read. I can't wait to hear what happens.
This book was a great mix of a lofty vision and practical application. I enjoyed the narrator and I also enjoyed how the book starts off with a grand purpose and the breaks it down into chunks of information that are doable by the reader.
I am inspired to come up with something BOLD to do with my life!
Although I have studied many of truckers concepts, I feel this book brought to light many of the thought patterns in a cohesive, very readable, and fun way to go about it.
I think the author does a great job in leading the reader experience a little bit of the thrill that the author had while interviewing Peter Drucker.
This was a great book and a quick read.
I have found this book mildly entertaining. The facts in it are interesting. I like the narration. I think the questions the author is asking are fascinating. I believe it is definitely skewed towards female readers. However, as a male listener, I have thoroughly enjoyed the book.
I loved the original book, the E-Myth and I purchased the physical version of the book for a friend of mine. I thought that it would be great to listen to the book while he was reading it. I love the message and I think that the concepts here will help architects be more successful. The path is shown in a simple business plan. I find that this is the benefit to a business owner who wants to be a good architect, but doesn't know how to make money while at it.
I liked the simple laid out business plan that was given by the authors.
I thoroughly enjoyed the specifics by the co-author. mr. Lemermeyer obviously has experience and wants to share his knowledge.
I thought the plot was great! I can usually figure out what is going on most of the time in these Reacher novels. This one has good suspense, good fighting, good bad guys, and a great Reacher!
I also LOVED the fact that Lee Child didn't do one of his notorious plots where Reacher figures everything out and then figures out he made a mistake, not just any mistake, but a grave mistake.... lol It always seems to happen. But this one did not have that twist and I thorough enjoyed the whole book.
Jack Reacher in this novel is pure Reacher. A man with no cause, just justice on his mind. Love it. Great return to the "pure" Reacher character.
What can I say, except Dick Hill IS Jack Reacher to me now. I love his voice and just purchased another book series, simply because of the narrator.
No extreme reaction, but I did smile when the slime balls get what is coming to them....Reacher!
I really enjoyed the other characters that came into play and the interaction Jack Reacher has with them. I find part of what I love about Reacher is his solo act in every story, but I love how the "Old Team" gets together in this novel.
Reacher being Reacher and causing total havoc in what I think is his most "revengeful" mission yet.
Dick Hill IS Jack Reacher in my mind now. He has a great tone, moves the story along and just has a great voice.
The Reacher Novels do not make me laugh or cry, but I do get excited and think, GET EM!
This is one of my more favorite Jack Reacher novels. Great book and gives some good insights into a character that everyone loves, but we still do not know that much about. Read it!
I enjoyed the narration the best. I normally HATE when the narrators vary in an audio book. But I have to say, I think this was done well and the result was really nice. I enjoyed both voices and I think it added to the overall book.
The most interesting part of the story was getting to know more about the supporting characters. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the other vampires in the Cullens.
The least interesting part of the story is all of the infighting between the wolves. It was way too drawn out and took up way too much of the book.
My wife is a
I wasn't particularly moved by any part, but my wife LOVES the part when Bella discovers her powers.
First off, this was my first Stephenie Meyer's book that I have read. I did it, so that I could enjoy the movie more with my wife. She is a die hard Twilight fan and I read the first half in secrecy, but finally had to tell her what I was doing because I had questions about the story.
I really enjoyed the narrators. I think they did a superb job and I enjoyed the production.
The story is good, but definitely written for female readers that enjoy pretending the supernatural elements in the world are all in a big fight revolving around a single woman.
I have read every Tom Clancy novel multiple times. I always come back to Rainbow Six and The Bear and The Dragon. With such a complicated story, for our complicated world, I can't help but wonder what would happen if our political leaders read this story and tried to apply some of the wonderful concepts.
Tom Clancy is a master at starting multiple stories and bringing them all together as a wonderful climax. This book is no different.
The narrator does a great job and I would highly recommend this to anyone that likes a good political/military novel.
I have been a Tom Clancy fan for many years and for some reason, I never got around to reading this book. I loved the movie though. I wanted to find a good long novel to listen to and stumbled upon this and I could not be more pleased!
Why no one has adapted this into a TV Series and made 20 episodes of fantastic television, I will never know. This book was great from start to finish and had the classic - tie it all together at the end - Clancy finish. I only had one issue with the way it was narrated. It sounded like someone in post production purposely made the transition paragraphs have little if no pause. So one minute you are dealing with Jack Ryan in Washington and the next sentence is about the military in Colorado and you are trying to figure out what happened. Really poor transitions. But at about hour 12, I started to figure it out. Outside of that, great book. Give it a listen.
