This book was the first audiobook I have listened to narrated by the author. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. Vinnie is very motivating and pulled me right in from the first minute. Helps clear up all the confusion surround the "best" way to eat if you are an endurance athlete...and if you're not.
His stories from his personal experiences had me laughing out loud while I was listening during my run. I could relate to many of his opinions and perspectives. Vinnie comes across as sincere; that he has a message to share.
Yes, but I listened in two long runs instead!
Since I listened to this audiobook, I am now a loyal listener of his podcasts.
This book is interesting, engaging and an overall reminder of what motivates me to run. Since my early twenties I've been through various stages in my life compelling me to run anywhere between 10 and 100 miles per week...I never feel better than when I am making time for high miles. I have not personally met another person who shares this passion. This book has helped me discover a new motivation to get out there and keep running.
Form and posture. How important it is to run the right way.
