Six years ago, Jack Till helped Wendy Harper disappear. But now her ex-boyfriend and former business partner, Eric Fuller, is being framed for her presumed murder in an effort to smoke her out, and Till must find her before tango-dancing assassins Paul and Sylvie Turner do. With masterful plotting and unnerving psychological insight, Thomas Perry delivers another mesmerizing thrill ride.

An amazing storyline, very well written and great narrator! It's very clear that the author did a lot of research to pull this book together. I learned a lot about surviving the wilderness. Along with the great storyline, all in all a very exciting page turner.

John Lago is a very bad guy. But he’s the very best at what he does. And what he does is infiltrate top-level companies and assassinate crooked executives while disguised as an intern. Interns are invisible. That’s the secret behind HR, Inc., the elite “placement agency” that doubles as a network of assassins for hire who take down high-profile targets that wouldn’t be able to remember an intern’s name if their lives depended on it.

Douglas says: "started with great expectations, but a huge bust"

The narration is what made the book even better.

I haven't touched another person in three years. That seems like it would be a difficult task, but it's not. Not anymore, thanks to the internet. My anonymous clients spend thousands of dollars to watch me take my clothes off for the camera. What they want, I give. Their secrets, I keep. Everything I tell them is a lie. Open the door to this year's most shocking thriller.

    Intriguing plot, overdone at times.

Would you be willing to try another book from A.R. Torre? Why or why not?

I would certainly read another book by this author.

What about Jorjeana Marie’s performance did you like?

The narrator was able to transition from one scene to another without much complication.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A little laughing, no crying, just intrigued.

    Any additional comments?

Nicely done for a first-time book. I definitely would recommend it to others to read.
