After a joyous honeymoon in Paris, Dexter is feeling pretty normal. But when a corpse is found displayed on a Miami beach, Dexter realizes another killer is on the loose.

Russell says: "Is there a such thing as 'too graphic'?"
    "classic Dexter"
    Overall

Well,it seems as though some people reviewing this book expected something other then Dexter. If you like the show - you will like this book. If you liked the other books - you will like this book. This is not a literary masterpiece, nor should it be. It's DEXTER. It was mindless entertainment just as it was meant to be!

The messages waiting for Henry Pierce when he plugs in his new phone clearly aren't intended for him. They indicate something has gone terribly wrong for a woman named Lilly. Pierce probes, investigates, and then tumbles through a hole, leaving behind a life driven by work to track down and help a woman he's never met. Connelly's latest is "a grabber from the beginning...utterly compelling."

David says: "Nobody Could Be That Stupid That Many Times!"

Well gosh, I am a huge fan of Michael Connelly. If you listen to this book go in with no expectations that way you won't be disappointed. I had to fast forward through many parts, it just kept going on and on - blah, blah, blah and more blah. He seemed to use a lot of filler type dialogue just to add pages. How much can we hear about atoms and molecules? I liked the end though! I am still a fan, just know this is not his typical work.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

"pure entertainment - an emotional rollercoaster"

If I could I would give this book 10 stars. It was an insightful look into the past, but in some cases probably still a reality. I found myself walking my dog just to give me time to listen to this wonderfully narrated and written book. I can find nothing negative to say about this book.
