Yes, I would recommend this book as it was funny, a mystery, and an enjoyable listen
My favorite character was Dresden the main hero.
I loved his performance and have never heard him before. I do not think the book would be as good without his way of talking. I really enjoyed the way he read the book and glad I was able to listen instead of reading it myself.
I just bought the book because of the price and did not expect much but instead I got a great book that I really enjoyed and will listen to it again.
I will recommend this book to my friends as I really enjoyed the story.
The way Liane Moriarty took her characters through interesting twists and turns. Then she brings it all together and makes you look at life through different eyes.
I enjoyed the husband who wrote the secret letter. You felt for him and what he went through and how you ended up feeling about him in the end.
This book did make me laugh and cry. The characters feel like real people you know and you feel like you are there with them.
I like this book so much I have listened to it three times already and plan on listening to it again and again.
This is the best thriller I have ever listened to. Of all the best writers of our day this book by Elizabeth Haynes puts them to shame. I wish this book could be put on the top of everyone's list of must reads.
I could not stop listening on the edge of my seat clear through the entire book. As an avid reader I have not had a book keep me engaged so thoroughly as this story. I will listen to this book many times again. I wanted to jump right into the book and take part in the story.
Karen Cass does an amazing job portraying this woman's story. David Thorpe comes in only when needed which is perfect.
Prepare yourself to forget the popcorn and soda as you will be in the movie yourself.
I just picked this book out of thin air but I wish I could tell everyone that loves thrilling books to read this one.
I enjoyed the story of how the CIA began from the 1940's to now. The book is written intelligently and the writer made it interesting to listen to. Good Story
There is no story like I expected. It was like listening to a text book without a story line. Very disappointing.
The very first part was entertaining but as the book went further it went downhill. The story became the same as all the other end of the world books.
No this was not my kind of book. I don't know what she was aiming for but she missed the mark with this book. Sorry but I just did not like anything about this book.
I love the Stephanie Plum books and this one was one of my favorites. I love how she sneaks into Ranger's home and sees how he lives is great. Not knowing that she is being watched the entire time makes it even better. Love this book.
Being raised by an alcoholic mother, I did not expect to love this character but I did. This is a great story that makes you love this woman even with what she does. Hearing the book from her perspective is a new and wonderful experience. The fact that she does not see her drinking in the same way as her daughters and friends was very interesting.
I put off reading this book for quite awhile because I lived through those years and did not want to be reminded of the wrongs that white people did to black people. I finally listened to the book and was hooked from the beginning. I loved the fact that different people read the story and put their own mark on the characters. They did a great job and I continue to listen to it over and over again. Great book.
