Heir To The Empire grabs you from the beginning with one of the best introductions of a villain in any story. Admiral Thrawn is painted so vividly in such a brief amount of time, an incredible feat that not many can achieve. The first chapter makes us terrified for our favorite team of Star Wars characters and keeps us listening all the way through the book. Marc Thompson is the best narrator I've ever heard. His vast collection of voices and impressions transport you to a galaxy far, far, away...

ME Revelation gives a nice backstory to some of your favorite supporting characters in the first Mass Effect game as well as it's villain, Saren. Karpyshyn's story is different from the story lines of the games in a good way. The universe is familiar, the characters are familiar, but the adventure is different. With scientist Kahlee Sanders a suspect of sabotaging her research facility and on the run, David Anderson tasks himself with discovering the truth behind the sabotage. Meanwhile, Saren, the council Spectre, seeks to find the truth through his own violent means...

    Story

Plagueis is a wonderful story that dives into the nooks and crannies of the years before episode one and even delves into the film itself from a new perspective. James Luceno's philosophy of the dark and light side of the force add more depth to the Jedi and Sith conflict. Daniel Davis' dark narration keeps you locked into the story, even through the slow diplomatic areas. I strongly recommend this book to any Star Wars fan.
