I would have loved this book as much as I loved the first book, but simple common sense things like calling a lawyer when being questioned by police or calling the police when an intruder is in your house or not going into someone's opened house due to no answer, all overlooked. This made the story irritating and unrealistic. Not my favorite.
I thought I was not going to like this story. The beginning was a bit childish and annoying. I did not like this female character in the beinning, BUT! it turned out to be a great story. The chemistry was there and I loved the ending. I would have loved for the other characters to have been developed a bit more.
I really enjoyed this story. I enjoyed the characters and the relationship between all the characters. Tara's love and protective relationship regarding her son was realistic to me. The chemistry and sex between Tara and Mick were heart warming. I would re-read this book and recommend it to others.
This is my first romance fiction with a male lead and narrator. He was obnoxiously funny and likeable. He was who he was and he found Kate who learned to love him through his flaws. He saw her as is equalm strong and confident. Drew battles with his issues and finds the lov of his life and commits himslf to that. I especially love the relationship and interaction between him and his neice.
Would definitely read again.
What happened to strong determined Kate? Apparently she was asking the same question. Hate is a strong word, but I hatd this story. I finished it because I wanted to give a complete review.
1> No real plot just a bunch of pity-partying going on by Kate,
2> 10 chapters of one huge misunderstanding where Kate was just as much to blame as Drew. When did lying become dismissable? Why wasn't her fault emphsized more in the story to everyone? It all started with her lie. Seriously this was almost juvenile.
3> The misunderstanding was stupid that it should not have taken 10 chapters to address. It made me fall out of love with this couple.
4> It felt more like an opportunity to highlight Kate and Billy Warren's relationship with all the flashback and him being there. He wasn't all that great of a guy either so to now try to give him some friend with benefit redeaming quality WT*. Kissing? Really. Whose suppos to believe it's truly over if you would still kiss. Perhaps that is the backdrop for DeeDee story in Tamed.
The 2 stars are for chapters 1-5.
Great romance story with a bit of mystery. I loved the best friend in this story. I started out listening but the narrator's voice became annoying. She has done a better job on other books, this one should have had someone else.
Love the relationship and the entire series.
This is definitely a reread. I liked the characters and the narrator. The story was quick, romantic and had funny moments. Light reading when you need a quick escape.
I am in love with these charaters and this series. The narrator did an excellent job bringing them to life. This is a story I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good story, love and sex. I will listn to this again.
The narrator read this book as if she was reading to small children. There was no variation in her voice for each character. She did not help the story come to life at all. She actually hindered me from enjoying the story. I could not take it. Luckily had had the kindle version of the book and read it myself. I enjoyed the story via Kindle. Great storyline, good characters and great romance. I would nor recommend this audible version.
I would read another book by Theresa Ragan. I actually read "Having My Baby" and liked that book. This one seem like it was drawn out to be longer than it had to be. I agree with other reviewers that there was more sexual tesion than sex. But that was fine for me.
Could've been better.
If you are looking for hot and steamy, this is not it.
i would recommend this audiobook because although it has hot sex it has more of a plot.
There were so many favorite parts. The alley, the mansion, and the walk through were my favorite.
This was my first.
I am a fan of the Stark series. Evan was introduce then. I was expecting this series to pick up from there, but it is totally separate. This series seems to be following the path of following up on the main characters and not the same couple, which I like. This way you still get the complete story but you can get updates as the other couples are introduced in the next book. I am looking forward to Heated.
