I've listened to this a few times at bedtime and each time it has put me to sleep before reaching the end. His voice is relaxing (although you may not think so from the sample) and does help you to relax. I only wish there had been more than two relaxation exercises. I will probably tire of listening to them over and over.
I haven't read the books but others seem to have high regard for them. Maybe if I had read them first this series would have had more meaning. I didn't get much out of this. A lot of repetition because it is from a radio show so they recap all of the past shows. The basic take away I got from this book is to accept your anxieties and don't worry about them. It focused mostly on the problem and very little on the solution. I'll try listening to it again to see if I get more of it the second time.
