When Shelly Brockman walked into his office, Sheriff Dare Westmoreland could almost taste the sweet, steamy passion they'd once shared. Then Shelly informed him he was the father of her son, the unruly preteen he'd arrested that day, and his fantasies turned to fury!

    Latonia says: "Dare...Those Westmoreland men!!"

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I was not expecting this topic so it was my fault for not reading into it more. I like the general story, however, thought it pretty predictable.

Would you be willing to try another book from Brenda Jackson? Why or why not?

    Not at this time.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Dare tells A.J. he has made him the happiest man alive.

Did A Little Dare inspire you to do anything?

    No

Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched Natalie, the love of his life, marry another man. Six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor. Six years of keeping his promise to leave Natalie alone, and six years of tortured dreams of her life with her new husband, Todd. But six years haven’t come close to extinguishing his feelings, and when Jake comes across Todd’s obituary, he can’t keep himself away from the funeral. There he gets the glimpse of Todd’s wife he’s hoping for...but she is not Natalie....

    G. House Sr. says: "Obsession, mystery, and you're hooked!"

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would. It was a good book and good story. I thought there was a lot of detail given that was not needed and some not given and left open. Also, a pretty far fetched idea. But still, good.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Him going to the funeral. The first one.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Scott Brick?

No idea. Just didnt like the way he said "Natale" bugged me.

Did Six Years inspire you to do anything?
