It's Hazel's 30th birthday and she has everything she's ever wanted: a kickass job, a dream apartment in New York City, and the perfect boyfriend - who's just days away from proposing. The morning after her birthday, Hazel boards a flight to L.A. only to get the surprise of her life. When she's bumped up to first class, extra legroom and free drinks are absolutely the last things on her mind when she catches sight of her seatmate: her all-time biggest celebrity crush, rock star Finn Schiller! Only the night before she'd confessed her infatuation with the gorgeous musician, and her boyfriend joked that she had a free pass if she ever met him....

Would you try another book from Jill Kargman and/or Jill Kargman?

I have enjoyed books by this author. but will probably not buy another audio book delivered by the author herself, her delivery is monotone and boring and rushed, she does not seem to like what she has written or appears to be completely bored. You also need to enjoy explicit language..... not a book i would recommend.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her delivery was flat and dreary

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment

George R.R. Martin’s superb and highly acclaimed epic fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire continues with the third in the series A Storm of Swords. There is passion here, and misery and charm, grandeur and squalor, tragedy, nobility and courage. Unabridged and split into two parts. The Seven Kingdoms are divided by revolt and blood feud, and winter approaches like an angry beast. Beyond the Northern borders, wildlings leave their villages to gather in the ice and stone wasteland of the Frostfangs.

If you could sum up The Secret Keeper in three words, what would they be?

You can't guess! I have loved everyone of Ms Mortons books all have surprised and all leave me with a tear in my eye. She is on par with the style of Agatha Christie

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Secret Keeper?

    The twist

What does Caroline Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent narration, there are no flaws

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Its emotive, it evokes a time that is unforgettable

    Any additional comments?

Kate Morton is one of the best writers in the genre. Her books are absolutely mesmerising. The only other writer i can compare her with is Katherine Neville.

You will be transported in a way that seldom happens. This is not chick lit this is true thriller stuff. Hercules Poiret

Tennessee, 1950: a time and place that straddles the past and present. Ivorie Walker is considered an old maid by the town (though she’s only in her early 30s), and she takes that label with good humor and a grain of salt. Ever since her parents passed away, she has hidden her loneliness behind a fierce independence and a claim of not needing anyone. But when she realizes that someone has been stealing vegetables from her garden - a feral, dirty-faced boy who disappears into the hills - something about him haunts Ivorie.

Linda says: "Do not give up on this book!"
