Court Gentry is known as The Gray Man - a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible, and then fading away. And he always hits his target. But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness. Now, he is going to prove that for him, there's no gray area between killing for a living-and killing to stay alive.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I have been a member for over 11 years and this was the first book I could not finish. Maybe it is just me and old age but these supermen who soldier on with gunshot wounds, knife wounds and multiple broken bones is just too much. I have completed migrated over to the Scandinavia authors who are much more realistic and their plots are more complex and better constructed. The reader was very good and the descriptions about Switzerland seemed correct.

What was most disappointing about Mark Greaney’s story?

    Super hero character and plot

    Which scene was your favorite?

The escape in the ole town of Geneva

Could you see The Gray Man being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    Hope not

Dubbed by Barron's as "The Shadow CIA", Stratfor, George Friedman's global intelligence company, has provided analysis to Fortune 500 companies, news outlets, and even the U.S. government. Now Friedman delivers the geopolitical story that the mainstream media has been unable to uncover, the startling truth behind America's foreign policy and war effort in Afghanistan, Iraq, and beyond.

This book provided a fascinating look at the human beings making decisions affecting all our lives. It is simply not possible to get this kind of in-depth thinking from newspapers or nightly news programs. After listening to this book I came away with a completely different understanding of the how and why of the war we are in. I can?t say the analysis is correct, but the perspective presented is not easily found elsewhere. If you want a better understanding of current events and the people making the decisions causing those events to happen I highly recommend this book.
