In his simplest guided meditation album to date, Deepak intimately navigates the listener through a series of Sutras, or “Great Sayings,” translated from the wisdom tradition of the Vedanta, a classical system of Indian philosophy. Deepak shares that “The power of these Sutras activate self-repair mechanisms because they’re revealing to us our true identity. Self-repair is healing.”

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you are like me and love meditative and spiritual audioes then this is for you

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Secret of Healing?

The music reaches my soul. Sometimes I skip the speaking part and just listen to the chapters with the music. Also the substance he speaks about rings true.

What about Deepak Chopra’s performance did you like?

Deepak Chopra could read the phonebook because his voice is like "silk". He has a slight accent, speaks crystal clear, and what he says is pure magic!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is a book that I come back to to listen to a chapter, drink it in, and enjoy. It is not listened to all at once. It's meditative and delicious!

In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

This is an amazing story with a poignant message. Source wants us to realize some important things and used her to relay them. She delivers. Now I return to this book time and time again to contemplate the meaning for me.

There was a lot of talk about this "erotic book" so I had to get it. It started out good with descriptive sex. But that's all there was - so far. I can't bring myself to go back to it.
