If you could sum up The Boys in the Boat in three words, what would they be?

Mr Brown you have put together a master piece, nothing short of brilliant. I was glued to this story. They way you wove the lives of so many well developed characters into a single thread was incredible. I think you found your swing. This book is the american classic of the underdogs making good. Really makes good on the american spirit.

What did you like best about this story?

    The character development is superb.

What does Edward Herrmann bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr Hermann is a good voice that makes you believe that he telling this story from a first hand account.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Going for gold against all odds.

    Any additional comments?

I truly hope there is a film from this book and Mr. Brown carefully advises.

Thanks for sharing your journey through the metaphysical and leaving a path that regular joes have a chance to follow. The narration is superb.
