What made the experience of listening to The Reluctant Fundamentalist the most enjoyable?

The fact that I could listen to it while being on a train instead of packing extra weight! Also, how it was written. I was hooked right after the first chapter and the ending was just as different.

What other book might you compare The Reluctant Fundamentalist to and why?

    None

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The character's love for the girl. It's so well written that you can climb into every character's head.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

What disappointed you about Fifty Shades of Grey?

The horrible writing. The fact that the writer seems clueless. Or that she opted to write about people and a state she has never even been to! The constant annoying repetition of words such as "Oh my!" and "my inner goddess". How did this book ever become a best seller is beyond me!

Has Fifty Shades of Grey turned you off from other books in this genre?

I've read some racy books but this was by far terribly written.

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

Nothing, it's not her fault that she read a dim witted book.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    That's a joke!

    Any additional comments?

I want my 10 hrs back!
