Her slight differences between characters are different which makes her a great reader.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    oh yes.

Would you consider the audio edition of Heir of Fire to be better than the print version?

Still Don't know. I thought her thought process has changed to ad her trainer's view to be important to her and I really thought her self Loathing was unexpected. The whining was a weird change coming from her.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Celaena of course.

What does Elizabeth Evans bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She can bring out the characters where a very few readers can be

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Do away with the flash backs. The decisions were bad for teenagers. Letting dragon get caught while they still had a chance in the open with TV cameras as well. It just didn't make any sense.

What was most disappointing about Mari Mancusi’s story?

That the decisions were bad and the choices the main character made were just plain bad. To let her bond get torn away by a guy she just met. to let her Dragon be taken by the bad guys. She had already made up her mind to put the dragon first but when it counted she acted as if it just happen and she's acting dumb make a decisions to let Conner kill Emmy is completely stupid.

How could the performance have been better?

A better reader that made more sense or a more believable reader. Taking the truck and running into the other one.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It moved the story because I knew they would have to fight the bad guys but with all the self sacrificing. and self loathing is just not what a teenagers do.

    Any additional comments?

I hop the last book makes more sense. I hope Conner shows more redeeming qualities cause all he seems to be is a killer or labeled a killer. But he just wont seem to kill a bad guy at the least possible times.

What made the experience of listening to Taming Fire the most enjoyable?

The Reader was most unexpected. He took his time to give the words more mass and shape when he paused on certain words. He also made the story real to the imagination. When your involved in a book, you have to be able to match certain aspects with the rhythm of the story. For example (if she grabs his left hand, that means his right hand is free, but if he takes an arrow in his right while holding a sword, then when the writer say's he dropped his sword and shouldered her out of the way and she hurt herself while falling, then her left hip of left hand would hurt because he shoved her with his left and she fell on her left side). as small as this sounds, you have to be able to see it in your head as its being read or your mind would reject it.

What other book might you compare Taming Fire to and why?

    Stormdancer -by Jay Kristoff.

What does Cameron Beierle bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He really knew the function of the story and it's lead characters as if he talked to them everyday at work.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when he finally confronted the King and his rabble.

    Any additional comments?

I am highly anticipating the next installment of this trilogy. It was a very good read.

Where does Dark Union rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

So far the series is very good in all aspects. Writing. Reading. Are very good.

What other book might you compare Dark Union to and why?

    Shea Mclode's first three books.

What does Saskia Maarleveld bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There are some readers that just read and concentrate only on the main characters. What she has done is acted through onto the secondary characters, where we as listeners can visualize as if watching a film.

Yes it was read in one sitting and had to drink a pot of coffee at night to finish.

My name's Quinn. If you buy into my reputation, I'm the most notorious demon hunter in New England. But rumors of my badassery have been slightly exaggerated. Instead of having kung-fu skills and a closet full of medieval weapons, I'm an ex-junkie with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time. Or the right place at the wrong time. Or…whatever. Wanted for crimes against inhumanity I (mostly) didn't commit, I was nearly a midnight snack for a werewolf until I was "saved" by a vampire calling itself the Bride of Quiet.
