No. I don't listen to books more than once, but I absolutely loved listening to it the first go-round.
It is a continuation of the first book and I love that the king is able to reunite with his grandfather and stays faithful to his wife.
I love the story. It was well told and well read. I loved the complex characters and the deep commitment Michael has to God. He held strong to his faith and reminded me of the value of honesty, forgiveness and patience.
Love her performance. Her voice was great. Her inflections and tones perfect.
I would take Michael out to dinner to understand how his faith grew to be so rock solid. I would ask him how to hear God the way he was able to.
Probably not. I can't remember ever reading or listening to a book more than once, except for when I was a kid.
It brought the bible story to life. It was incredibly interesting and the narration is excellent.

How real it was. Family dysfunction, secrets, pain- it is there and this shined a light on it.
Her wonderful voice. She carried this book. I looked forward to listening to it daily.
I have recommended this already to my friends. It is a great story that brings home to cold hard truth about the decisions we all made.
When Wes's mom told him she was not going to take him out of military school. It was a painful decision for her as a mom I am sure, but one that needed to be made for the sake of her child.
Every choice has a consequence.
I could really feel, hear, taste and smell what was happening hour by hour. It gave me a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by Jesus and his disciples, the difficult decisions that had to be made and the incredible grief Mary suffered watching her son go through all of this.
Jesus. Enough said.
The sermon on the Mount. Good advice even today.
Yes. I am a big fan of Immaculee Ilibagiza's books. They are honest and sobering. This book is inspiring and makes you grateful for everything you have.
Interesting, inspiring and entertaining.
Regardless of your political affiliation, this is a story about family, love, dedication and triumph over pain. It is beautifully written and I love that Ms. Rice read it herself.
