Despite all the warning bells, Black Friday arrives as a devastating tidal wave that completely destroys our fragile economy in a single day. There is panic in the streets as banks close their doors, seemingly forever, at noon. Store shelves are swept bare and the gas pumps soon run dry. Jimmy Logan watches in disbelief as his world crumbles before his eyes. Luckily, he has friends who have planned ahead for this nightmarish scenario and he joins up with a group who plan to ride the storm out in northern Minnesota. Some of their group will be dead before the sun sets.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Maybe someone that hasnt listened to a good book or an actual narrator.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Joe Cirillo?

Anyone. It was really terrible. If I hadnt paid for the book I would have stopped listening. Its almost like he was reading one long sentence. The people that gave him a good review most have never listened to another narrator with any talent at all. To be honest im not going to listen to the rest of the books because of the narrator.

    Any additional comments?

    CHANGE the narrator.

Worth the time and the credit. Well written and the narrator is top notch!! Wish there was a replacement protagonist/hero for Three but by committee seemed to work for this book. I'm glad I listened to it. Can't wait for the third book!!

It has been three years since the Progerians left their mark of devastation upon Earth. The remaining humans are in a desperate race against time as they do their best to reverse engineer the alien technology they captured, in an effort to bolster their beleaguered defenses against the oncoming onslaught of Progerians hell-bent on revenge.

Would you try another book from Mark Tufo and/or Sean Runnette?

Not if all his books are written like this one.

    Any additional comments?

Just could not get past the fact the the main character had something stupid to say about everything. I think the author was trying to make him witty but it just got so old. Really drug the story down.
