Chloe has always been a creature of joy and laughter. Since a brutal attack nearly a year ago, the trauma she experienced has gotten worse. She has started hiding from her life, even putting up walls between herself and those she cares about most. During a panic attack one night, she impulsively calls a number that she’s had for many months. Chloe met Brendan at her boss’ wedding. With confidence and seduction, he easily steps into the role of helping her manage her fear. By the end of the long call, they’ve indulged in some serious flirtation and mind-blowing phone sex - and she’s feeling things she’s buried for too long.

For the first time - in one Audible-exclusive collection - it's 13 stories of Jane Yellowrock, the shape-shifting skinwalker and vampire hunter for hire whose business card reads, "Have Stakes - Will Travel". Jane carries inside her the soul of her Beast, the mountain lion's soul which merged with hers when she accidently performed black magic as a child. Now, she and her Beast stalk the dark streets of New Orleans, bringing rogue vampires true death.

Nope wish there were more shorts to listen too. Some from Eli and Alex maybe. Bethany and Sloane.

I like multiple short stories books. Witchwold by Andrea Norton had a ton of good ones.

Southern flair character to the characters.

Did Cat o' Nine Tales inspire you to do anything?

Want to eat steak and Benin balls filled with pork and rice, want to visit New Orleans/ Louisiana.

For a vampire killer like Jane, having Leo Pellisier as a boss took some getting used to. But now, someone is out to take his place as Master Vampire of the city of New Orleans, and is not afraid to go through Jane to do it. After an attack that’s tantamount to a war declaration, Leo knows his rival is both powerful and vicious, but Leo’s not about to run scared. After all, he has Jane. But then, a plague strikes, one that takes down vampires and makes their masters easy prey.

In Dark Lycan, Christine Feehan journeyed into the heart of the Carpathians, and into the souls of two lifemates stirred by the flush of passion and the threat of annihilation. In Dark Wolf, the breathtaking story continues as the bonds of family are imperiled, and the fate of two lovers lies hidden in the seductive shadows between life and death.

Warning: This is a tale of beast sex. This story was written to unlock your darkest fantasies and innermost desires. It is not for the faint of heart and is not your mother's erotica. All of the sexual descriptions found in this book are very explicit in nature. It's not suitable for someone under 18 years of age. Read at your own risk.

Her desperate search leads her deep into a web of black magic and betrayal and into the dark history between vampires and witches. But the closer she draws to Molly, the closer she draws to a new enemy - one who is stranger and more powerful than any she has ever faced.

What made the experience of listening to Black Arts the most enjoyable?

the narrator and her ability to perform a variety of voices for the variety of charactors.

What did you like best about this story?

the setting, the tibits of history.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

she's one of the best narrators Ive listened to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the fact that there is no long periods of sexuallity trying to fill in the story.

    Any additional comments?

sometimes the repeating of things gets boring. Having read books from 1-7certain things are constantly repeated, which I think is just to fill in, and it gets boring hearing them again and again which is why I give the story just a 4.
