Hot off the success of her best-selling Can You Keep a Secret?, Sophie Kinsella delivers another hilarious Becky Bloomwood novel. When last we left Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood), she and Luke had just married and she'd unveiled her big honeymoon surprise...around-the-globe plane tickets. World-weary 10 months later, the newlyweds return home filled with excitement to share the details of their amazing escapades.

What made the experience of listening to Shopaholic & Sister the most enjoyable?

Loved the story - as always. Sophie Kinsella just NEVER disappoints. This is one of my favorites in the series. And the new narrator handled the characters brilliantly! She is a little more grown up - in voice - than the previous - which makes perfect sense!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shopaholic & Sister?

A few laugh-out-loud moments when Becky is preparing for Jess to sleep over.

Which character – as performed by Josephine Bailey – was your favorite?

She does LUKE just as well as Becky!!

1946: World War II has ended and all over the world, young women are beginning to fulfill the promises made to the men they wed in wartime. In Sydney, Australia, four women join 650 other war brides on an extraordinary voyage to England - aboard HMS Victoria, which still carries not just arms and aircraft but a thousand naval officers. Rules are strictly enforced, from the aircraft carrier’s captain down to the lowliest young deckhand. But the men and the brides will find their lives intertwined despite the Navy’s ironclad sanctions.

Would you listen to The Ship of Brides again? Why?

YES! I don't think there were any uninteresting characters. All had depth and kept you wanting more. And, Nicolette McKenzie handled them all wonderfully.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Ship of Brides?

Probably when I was crying my eyes out but I don't want to give away anything by saying when that was.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When the captain and Francis had their in-depth conversation was revealing but the fire scene was excellent, too.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

6 weeks can make a lifetime.

    Any additional comments?

I would have liked to have found out about the fate of Jean and maybe also Margaret's mom.

Suppose your life sucks. A lot. Your husband has done a vanishing act, your teenage stepson is being bullied, and your math-whiz daughter has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you can't afford to pay for. Where does One Plus One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top 5

What was one of the most memorable moments of One Plus One?

Wow. So many of them. I was going to say, the whole car ride but that sums up most of the story! I'm sticking with it, though.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

I think, Tansy (not sure of the spelling with the Audible version).

Would you listen to The Secret Life of Violet Grant again? Why?

    Yes. I loved the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vivian - very witty but also kind and sensitive

What does Kathleen McInerney bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Delivery of wit as well emotion. Her delivery of Mr. Grant really painted his true character.

    Any additional comments?

I LOVED the addition of Einstein and the history of pre-WWI developments. Also, I might need to re-listen because I missed what Violet spoke to Jane about. How did that play out? My stars are based on the fact that it completely captured me.

On assignment in Vienna, photographer Ian Jarrett falls suddenly and desperately in love with a woman he meets by pure chance, Marian Esguard. Back in England, he separates from his wife and goes to meet Marian at an agreed rendezvous, only to hear her tell him on the telephone that she will not, after all, be coming. Then she vanishes from his life as mysteriously as she entered it. Who and where is the woman he met and fell in love with in Vienna?

Have you listened to any of Michael Kitchen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I think this "read" was even better then the last ("Painted in Darkness" by Goddard) - if that's possible!

Michael Kitchen reads lines so wonderfully and seems to understand each character so well that the slightest inflection or pause gives us hints of what is behind the written word - which is how the author would want it to be. His talent as a character actor teams up so well with Goddard's novels!! I hope there are many more to come.

Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood) is pregnant! She couldn't be more overjoyed, especially since discovering that shopping cures morning sickness. Everything has got to be perfect for her baby: from the designer nursery, to the latest, coolest pram, to the celebrity, must-have obstetrician. But when the celebrity obstetrician turns out to be her husband Luke's glamorous, intellectual ex-girlfriend, Becky's perfect world starts to crumble.

If you could sum up Shopaholic & Baby in three words, what would they be?

Narrator? + Suzie? + SOLD!I thought for sure that:1. (one of my favorite narrators) Roslyn Landor, who I thought would have a much, much older voice than Becky would have!2. Suze being called Suzie would be too unsettlingbut, once again, these original distractions became meaningless as my love for this wonderful story and the narration turned into pure - well - FAB!

What did you like best about this story?

Everything, but for some reason it was nice to have a little less focus on shopping.And... things like this... " BECKY'S ONLINE BANK FOR GIRLS" get me laughing out-right!

What does Rosalyn Landor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Better man voices. Excitement. More intelligent, down-to-earth Becky.
