YES! the story was really well told, interesting, and if you like true crime it is a no brainer--this book should be in your library.
that it had a conclusion. some books are written before the whole story plays out and the end of the story is not there. this book was written, researched, and read well. i got a snapshot of what it was like to be belinda temple.
the book was very sad but it had closure.
i am not sure. but she read well. reading an audiobook must be murder (excuse the pun).
several reactions, anger at david, sadness for belinda and her family, satisfaction that david was tried in a court of law and exposed for who he was--a worm.
i felt rage at the way david had a double standard. one for him and one for everyone else.
i will read this again and it is a welcome addition to my growing library.
I HAVE ONLY READ THE AUDIO VERSION.
MAYBE. I THINK THE STORY WAS INTERESTING. DEPENDS ON THE STORYLINE.
SHE WAS EASY TO LISTEN TO.
TWO DIFFERENT VIEWS
I FOUND SASKIA TO BE A SYPATHETIC CHARACTER AND SHE MADE THE BOOK MOST INTERESTING.
I DON'T KNOW. NEVER READ IT. CAN'T READ ANYMORE.
I DON'T KNOW IF THERE WERE WHAT YOU CALL MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN THIS BOOK. I GUESS WHEN THE QUIRKS IN JOSH'S AND STEVES PERSONALITIES STARTED BEING REVEALED.
THEY READ CRISPLY AND CLEARLY.
I FOUND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT STEVE COULD BE SUCH A WIERDO. JOSH WAS TOO--A VERY ODD FAMILY.
IF THE BOOK DID NOT TRY TO MAKE YOU LIKE THESE WORTHLESS PEOPLE. THE HYPOCRISY WAS SO THICK.
GENERE? IF YOU MEAN STORIES ABOUT DRUG DEALERS. I THINK SO. UNLESS THE BOOK IS HONEST. THIS ONE ISN'T.
O I LOVED THE PREFORMANCE. AS WELL AS THE SOUND EFFECTS. IT WAS THE ONE BRIGHT SPOT IN THE BOOK.
DISBELIEF. AND FINALLY I JUST DRAGGED THRU THE LAST HOUR OF TTHE BOOK. IT WAS PRETENTIOUS. I CAN NOT SEE HOW ANY AUTHOR COULD MAKE ME LIKE THESE PEOPLE. ALL OF THEM WERE LOW LIFES.
I REALLY LOVED THE SOUND EFFECTS...GUNS SHOOTING. DOORS KNOCKING, DOORBELLS RINGING. I WISH MORE BOOKS DID THIS. IT REALLY MADE IT AUDIO! BUT THE STORY WAS WORTHLESS AND I WON'T READ ANOTHER BY THIS AUTHOR.
NOT VERY HIGH. IT WAS PASSABLE. NOT BECAUSE OF THE WRITING, BUT I FOUND THE STORY NOT THAT INTERESTING.
YES. I WILL WANT TO BE SURE THE TRUE CRIME CASE IS MORE INTERESTING.
DEADLY LITTLE SECRETS. IT WAS A MORE INTERESTING BOOK.
REALLY, I DON'T THINK YOU PICK UP TIDBITS READING TRUE CRIME.
I LIKED THE PLOT VERY MUCH. I DID NOT LIKE THE WAY THINGS GOT WRAPPED UP IN THE END. IT RUINED THE WHOLE BOOK.
THE ENDING. IT WAS JUST TOO MUCH. THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK I READ BY THIS AUTHOR THAT WAS VERY ENJOYABLE THRU THE BOOK WHERE THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS MESSED THE WHOLE THING UP.
THERE WERE MANY ENJOYABLE SCENES. I CANT PICK A FAVOITE.
YES IT WAS EVEN THO I GAVE IT A POOR RATING. BECAUSE THRUOUT MOST OF THE BOOK IT WAS EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE.
THIS AUTHOR HAS SUCH POTENTIAL IN HER BOOKS. BUT I DOUBT I WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE THE PLOT WAS FINE UNTIL THEY COMPLICATED IT. ANOTHER BOOK WITH A MURDER IN IT THAT ADDED NOTHING TO THE STORY.
I DON'T KNOW. I HAVE READ SEVERAL. THEY WERE OK BUT THIS ONE WAS REALLY POORLY WRITTEN. I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT ONE MORE BY HIM AND AM NOT SURE I WANT TO READ IT BUT I WILL TRY IT.
AS I SAID ABOVE IT WAS VERY REPETATIVE. JUST TELL THE STORY IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER AND STOP REPEATING WHAT I ALREADY HEARD. IT COULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST ONE THIRD SHORTER.
I REALLY CAN'T SAY. IT WAS SO CHOPPY THAT I COULD NOT FOCUS ON ONE SCENE.
WHEN SOMETHING IS TOLD FOUR AND FIVE TIEMS IT SHOULD BE EDITED OUT THREE OR FOUR TIMES.
THIS WAS A GOOD CASE. I REMEMBER IT AND SAW A SHOW (SNAPPED) ON IT. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT BOOK. BUT IT WAS NOT.
I DOUBT IT. DEPENDS ON THE SUBJECT. I HESITATED BUYING THE BOOK, BUT I BASED MY PURCHASE ON REVIEWS OF OTHER PEOPLE.
I AM LISTENING TO BITTER ALMONDS ABOUT STELLA NICHOLS THE EXCEDREN KILLER.
SHE WAS NOT BAD. I FIND I LIKE MOST OF THE READERS.
NO BUT IT MITE BE A GOOD MOVIE FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE -- LIKE MY COUSIN.
I AM NOT SAYING NOT TO BUY THIS BOOK. BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE LIKED IT. I FOUND THE STORY STRANGE AND THE CHARACTERS UNDERDEVELOPED.
PROBABLY NOT. BUT IT WAS JUST A BIT TO PREDICTABLE.
I WOULD HAVE MADE DIANES HUBBY NOT QUITE SUCH A SELFISH CREEP.
I WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE FATE OF VALERIE.
IT WAS TOO CONVIENENT THE WAY THE BOOK ENDED.
BUT IT WAS ENJOYABLE ENOUGH.
VALERIE. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HER.
I GUESS. BUT I PROBABLY WON'T LISTEN TO IT AGAIN.
I DON'T THINK SO. IT WAS A VERY GOOD BOOK AND VERY ENTERTAINING BUT THE WAY THE AUTHOR WOUND THINGS UP WAS JUST TOO MUCH. VERY IMPROBABLE. WHY SHE RUINED A VERY GOOD BOOK WITH A LOUSEY ENDING IS BEYOND ME.
IT WAS A DOWNER. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ENDED IN A WAY THAT WASN'T LIKE A LIFETIME MELODRAMA.
I LIKED THE MAIN CHARACTER'S FAMILY MEMBERS BUT I THINK RYAN WAS OVERDONE A LITTLE. STILL I LIKED THE READING.
I GUESS RYAN. HE WAS LIKABLE.
WHEN AUTHORS HAVE WHAT I CALL A LIFETIME MELODRAMA ENDING IT RUINS A PERFECTLY GREAT BOOK. BUT I WAS ENTERTAINED UNTIL THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS SO I WON'T SAY I WAS CHEATED. I WILL PROBABLY NOT READ IT AGAIN. IT IS A MESSAGE TO PEOPLE THO. OBEY THE LAW. THERE ARE REASONS FOR LAWS.
THE STORY WAS PLEASANT. THE CHARACTERS WERE REALLY NOT DEVELOPED ALL THAT WELL. I COULD NOT PICTURE THEM. THE BOOK SEEMED RUSHED.
NO BUT I WOULDN'T TELL THEM NOT TO READ IT. IT WAS OK. I CAN'T SAY I DIDN'T ENJOY IT. BUT IT WAS A LITTLE SHALLOW ON DEVELOPMENT.
I MITE. I DID NOT CARE FOR HIS NARATION BUT HE WAS OK.
NO IT NEEDS A MORE DETAILED REWRITE. IT WAS MISSING SOMETHING. I FELT LIKE WELL, WHAT HAPPENED HERE. IT WAS OVER TOO FAST.
