If someone else would have read it for him so it didn't come off so self-serving.
Not have bragged so much.
I don't know.
Yes. It showed what you can become when your ego runs rampant
Wish he would go away.
A real pageturner
Kat. She is a really good heroine.
This book was one of the more entertaining books I've read in a long time. It was good storytelling and I didn't have to become a philosophizer to enjoy it lol.
Yes because she writes well. It's just that this concept would put two people in asylums in real life, and one behind bars at least.
No. It began to get very frustrating.
Yes, with a different ending. The level of "Sickness" on a psychological level was really disturbing. It wasn't really believable that any man would stay and also that any woman could get away with this.
I understand it on a deeper level, but…It gives me a hopeless feeling about the state of humanity. Also, really, if you looked into her past you would realize that the vindictive things she pulled before would tend to make anyone but the dumbest police investigators suspicious. So there were plenty flaws in this story.
Hard to pinpoint.
Virgil's sense of humor is always something to look forward to.
Ma is awesome.
Yes. He should have written a Harry Hole book!
Harry Hole was missing in action most of the time.
No. Not this book.
I was surprised at this book. I think he just wrote it as a filler for the money. It's like he didn't take the time. If he's going to put the Harry Hole brand on it, then let him write a Harry Hole novel.
The easy way the explanation of the history of Zionism and the State of Israel came into being.
How the Jews took a desert and grew roses in it. Yes, there were other people in that land, but nothing was being done there. It was basically a wasteland, but this author doesn't say that. He has tremendous respect for the Palestinians.
His voice. He has so much personal history in just who he is. After all, his Great Grandfather was one of the founders of the Zionist movement so to speak and he has so much empathy for what is going on in Israel. It's such a balanced view.
Yes. It made me feel "Bitter sweet."
Probably the best book I've read about Israel and the Palestinian situation. It was an amazing experience.
Yes. I liked the characters and the plot.
The whole book was good.
Neither. Just right.
Just that I wish it were an on going series.
Gray man rocks.
Gray man getting out of situations.
In a way, they made Gray man come off a little stupid about some things in this one but still, I suspended my imagination and hope in the next one he will be more on point :-)
Being lead on for so long.
The narrator was good.
Stupidity, plus, going through the property, Booooring. If you got to meet some of the characters the story revolved around "Somewhere" along the way it might have been more tolerable. You were just lead on a wild goose chase to "nowhere."
A grown man hanging with two kids was dumb. A guy wasting his time trying to redeem himself for What??? An ex-wife that had no purpose in the story, and a daughter who, as well, served no purpose. I'd think he was a bad father too.
Yes. Because Gabriel Alon and the gang is so amazing. Every adventure gets better. This series never gets boring, and Daniel Silva is one of the best writers of this genre. I feel totally entertained when I'm finished reading one of his books.
Gabriel, of course.
Yes. This is one of his better characters.
Keep them coming Mr. Silva. You make some of us very happy to receive your stories.
