How he wrote Alex. The character was better than I thought she would be.
At the half way point the story really picked up. I almost gave up, but the Alex character had me hooked. Glad I stuck with it.
I started to get impatient with the story; but stuck it out. Glad I did.
Gabe... but... This guy never seemed to shower or have any personal hygiene. There were references to opportunities to clear this up. By the end I was repelled by the character. ???
This was very difficult to get into. The narrator at times was completely monotone. I had hoped this was for effect; but nope. I like the story a lot however. A different narrator would make this a terrific listen.
Yes... the idea of 2 bad guys... well ... it did leave me guessing for a long time
When the good guy was revealed as the "good guy."
This would be ranked 3rd
Different narrator. Dick Hill made all characters sound the same. No difference in voice
When Joe went into the dryer to hide as he did as a child.
I will not purchase any book that Dick Hill narrates. Just too bad.
it was slow at first. I still wanted to go on and listen. I was glad I did. A "nice" story. I was entertained.
No, but he is great. Excellent job of change of voice as well as being able to put "personality" into the characters. Best I've listened to.
Suspense, fascinating and riveting
I was so absorbed in this story, that while I was working around the house I finished in a record time. WOW. I will read more of her books ASAP. Many books in my wish list. Really good.
Yes, characters well developed and a story that seemed so real
Bosh - He seemed real
No, but I like him
Oh Yes!!!! I did. Stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish it.
I have several Michael Connelly books in my wish list.
Yes, good cop story
Wade's "tricks" to use instead of his gun
Just an average job
The narrator got a little on my nerves. The said: "Wade said" or " Charlie said." Too loud, could have used a better, softer tone.
