Jack McLachlan is a winemaking magnate and easily one of Australia's most eligible bachelors. His success and wealth makes him no stranger to the complications of romantic relationships and that's why he goes to extreme measures to avoid the hassle. He prefers simplicity in the form of a beautiful female companion with no strings attached. He arranges relationships like business deals and they're always the same. No long term relationships. No real names.

If you could sum up Beauty from Pain in three words, what would they be?

    fan-F-ingtastic hooked me

What did you like best about this story?

The story, even though predictable like most love stories. It was entertaining and great love scenes. You get caught up in their story.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Bunny Warren and Robert Black ?

Anyone else. The guy would have to have the accent and the girl needs a southern drawl. But these two need to practice a bit more. Robert read the lines in spurts. No natural flow when he read. He has a good voice and sexy accent but it was exhausting listening to him rush through his lines. Bunny, is to nasal sounding. Her southern accent sounds forced. If the story had not have hooked me, and I hate to waste a credit, I would have stopped listening due to their voices. Hate to be harsh. Sorry.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

No names, Hot Sex, all my fantasies met, no pretenses. A perfect distraction......until I lost my heart.

    Any additional comments?

    Great book, bad narration.

Can not get enough of their story and this was a wonderful story. This one seemed to be a bit more descriptive. Seemed to draw things out a bit more in the second half. But overall a must read and D. Porter is the best narrator EVER! I would listen to anything by her. She could make a phone book interesting!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes because I loved to first set of books. Needed closure

If you’ve listened to books by Raine Miller before, how does this one compare?

Yes the other books in this series. This was my least favorite. Seemed a bit forced. An attempt to stretch it out.

How could the performance have been better?

I could not stand his performance. He is too theatrical. Very forced acting. He has a nice voice but needs to lay off a bit. Relax not so dramatized.

Did Rare and Precious Things inspire you to do anything?

    No

    Any additional comments?

If you loved the first books then you have to read it. Just have to finish their story. If you were "so so" with them don't waste the credit. You will live without this one.

The follow-up to the runaway bestsellers On Dublin Street and Down London Road. Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex - usually, she can't get up the nerve to approach guys she's interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it's time to push past her fears and go after what she wants. Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he's as loyal as they come.

What did you like best about this story?

Duh.... Nate and the sexy way he talks. Dear Lord!

Have you listened to any of Lee Angel’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I have not but loved her voices. Kind of scary being turned on by a woman's voice but she did Nate oh so well. I guess I am a sucker for a Scotish accent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Nate's speech in the library.

    Any additional comments?

    Very worth the credit!

Colton stole my heart. He wasn't supposed to, and I sure as hell didn't want him to, but he crashed into my life, ignited feelings within me that I thought had died forever, and fueled a passion that I never knew could exist. Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet and into my life. Now I don't think I'll ever be the same. She's seen glimpses of the darkness within me, and yet she's still here. Still fighting for me. She is without a doubt the saint and I am most definitely the sinner.

If you could sum up Fueled in three words, what would they be?

    A Thrill Ride!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Colton. He is crazy sexy and knows his way around a woman's body, boy does he... He is cocky in a very appealing sexy manner. Love his sarcasm. I can not resist a good smart ass. He is tortured and needs to be loved, to be saved. What woman can resist that. He is compassionate and tender but so tortured he lashes out. Always makes for a good story.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Since I read all three books first and then did reviews I have them mixed up. My favorite scene was in the last book. Sorry but you can't just listen to one, you have to read all three. No question about it. So it's the scavenger hunt. It's so touching. You fall for Colten even harder. How can someone so cocky and just plain manly be so romantic. Awwwww

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

He tried to race through life never allowing himself to feel, until he hit the wall...Her.

    Any additional comments?

You have to read all three books!

You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything. Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she's worth the fight - but how do you fight for someone you know you don't deserve?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, the story. You are rooting for them and he is just so damn hot.

Would you ever listen to anything by K. Bromberg again?

Yes. Very well written. Not rushed and well laid out. I wanted for nothing.

Have you listened to any of Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. But they were good. Look forward to coming across something else done by them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many and of course I am writing this review after I finished all three books. Not sure which book has which moment. I tore through them, they are that good. But the pain is so good and moving. It just makes the love that better.

    Any additional comments?

Awesome, you have to read all three.

In a world full of willing women, I'm a challenge to the roguish and achingly handsome Colton Donavan. A man used to getting exactly what he wants in all aspects of life. He's the reckless bad boy constantly skating that razor-thin edge toward out of control, on and off of the track.

What did you love best about Driven?

It combined a bunch of themes from books I have loved. It had a theme like "Bared to You" but funny and endearing. A slight touch of Fifty and love like so many others. Right up there with all the great trilogy stories. You really like the characters and you really want Colton.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love me some Colton! Why not? Hot and sexy is a given, but he is funny and sarcastic. Love the smart ass nature. He is tortured and cocky but oh so tender. He has it all. He is written in a way that makes you want the three H's. HOLD HIM, HIT HIM AND HUMP HIM!

What about Tatiana Sokolov’s performance did you like?

She did a great job. To me a narrator does a great job when I don't think about them. If I just listen and relate to the characters. It was smooth and easy. If I never think about it being read to me then it was done right.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    Every push and pull

    Any additional comments?
