God bless Wedge and 3PO for their roles in saving the rebelion, however their slaughter of these books (mostly Danniels) shouldn't have taken 15-20 years to correct. I do realize they had time restrictions to work with and that audio books were not that big a deal back then. It's almost as if they were given a copy of the book, a tape recorder, a quiet room and told to go read. I obviously don't know any sales records but I'd be willing to venture a guess that this is, or will be Audibles biggest money maker of the Star Wars series of books. Heres the best part, they'll do it 2 more times if their smart. Thank you Marc Thompson for doing Timmothy Zahns work the justice it deserves.
It's not my intent to speak poorly about John Glover, but the way he reads this story and puts emphasis on some of the words like when he says "the force" (you'll know what I mean when you hear it) makes it seem as though he's never heard of Star Wars before. The book it's self is good, it's a great backstory for Death Troopers. How about we re-do this one with Marc Thompson, get the pronounciations right, the Sith voices right and rework that weird tree librarian thing. Do that and it's 5 stars.
