We listened to this on a road trip and my kids age 9 & 6 were equally caught up in it. That's all I need. It is cute and not too scary. Now we are getting the next one.
Really good storytelling and the entire family could relate (from 6 to 45!). It started off a bit slow, but we were on a road trip and all of us got involved with the story. It became hard to stop listening...and we were sad that the story ended.
Elvis. Love the attitude and wisdom of the dog.
More Elvis! We'd all love to read a sequel.
it was too creepy for my younger child and it wasn't as funny
move on there are funnier ones out there
only a friend with a tween!
well, I love the quirkiness of the mom
We have listened to all the wimpy kid books and love him
this one felt a little short to me ....
one of my faves
The historical facts really brought me into the story
Love Scott Brick!
it was nice to hear a story I wanted to listen to all the way through. I have tried to listen to a few books lately that were ruined by a terrible narrator!
I thought the first chapter was ok and the french dentist story hilarious. Then it died and just got depressing. I know times have changed, but I didn't really enjoy hearing the stories from his youth.
I think Meltzer is stretching the reach of the culper ring. it has lost some of the mystery and excitement
move on to another topic
No, I hope not
I didn't really like this story...I had to force myself to finish it, and admit to blanking out several times..it didn't keep my interest
