I really liked the audio book. It was a fast listen and enjoyed it. Some plot good action, romance and mystery.
The Heat was interesting and kept my interest. It's what I call a light plot book. Not real intense, story line as okay. It get's a little funny when she get's kidnapped so many times but that is part of the plot. It doesn't use alot of my brain cells to listen to the book. I would use this book as what I call a filler. Like when I have a book such as The Outlander which is 40 hours of audio and I need a break because the book is intense - this book is a quick light fill in book.
I really liked this audio book. It was a good audio book light with some romance and some mystery. Enjoyed it..wasn't too indepth so I didn't have to do alot of thinking while listening too it, just purely entertaining.
This book is a really good shorter noval. I listen to all audio books and really enjoy Debbie Macomber books. The book is easy to listen to, goes pretty fast and has a great ending. It's an uplifting book. You would not be disappointed in listening to it. And this weekend 11/26/11 Hallmark made it into a movie that is going to air on TV.
The entire series was narrated by Laurell Merlington except for this one narrated by Claudia Black. Bad choice - should have stayed with Laurell to remain consistant. Lost it's continuity as a series.
