Miss Linnet Berry Thrynne is a Beauty... Naturally, she's betrothed to a Beast. Piers Yelverton, Earl of Marchant, lives in a castle in Wales where, it is rumored, his bad temper flays everyone he crosses. And rumor also has it that a wound has left the earl immune to the charms of any woman. Linnet is not just any woman. She is more than merely lovely: her wit and charm brought a prince to his knees. She estimates the earl will fall madly in love - in just two weeks. She is more than merely lovely: her wit and charm brought a prince to his knees.

An old romance with a new new twist at every turn. Great characters to love and to irritate you. Well written dialogue. Steamy love scenes. Modern feel but true to the historical theme. Wonderful narrator. Total enjoyment.

A great paranormal romance series. Compelling story and interesting characters with depth and flaws. Steamy romance with touches of humor and enough mystery to hold your interest. This one had rough language that was a bit tiresome.

Wonderful entertaining and unusual story. Temple is a duke born but hardened by life. Mara is a strong independent woman also made tough by life. They are enemies with a lot in common. By this third book you will know the supporting characters and they do not disappoint. This one will delight and surprise you! Rosalyn Landor is simply the best narrator out there. What a treat!

Lethally charming Simon Blair, Marquess of Lisburne, has reluctantly returned to London for one reason only: a family obligation. Still, he might make time for the seduction of a certain redheaded dressmaker - but Leonie Noirot hasn't time for him. She's obsessed with transforming his cousin, the dowdy Lady Gladys, into a swan. Leonie's skills can coax curves - and profits - from thin air, but his criminally handsome lordship is too busy trying to seduce her to appreciate her genius.

The Dressmakers series is enjoyable from the start. The three sisters are smart, devoted and talented. Each book focuses on a different sister and this final one completes the stories beautifully. The third sister is a no-nonsense business woman. While she doesn't want or need a man it is wonderful when one comes along who appreciates her intelligence and inspires her passion. The story doesn't solve all the problems too quickly but takes you on an enjoyable journey.. The supporting characters are charming giving the story depth. The naration is outstanding. This trilogy is romance at it's best.

What a wonderful mix of historical romance and paranormal romance. The characters are real, likeable and consistent in each book. The narrator is perfect because you can get lost in the story and feel as if you are there. Start with book one and enjoy a continual love story complete with sensuality and mystery, with villains and heroes, some giggles, some tragedy and a family full of special gifts thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

For ages, it seems, advice columnist Annabelle Swift has loved Derek Knightly, editor-owner of the London Weekly, from a distance. Determined to finally attract her boss's attention, she seeks advice from her loyal readers, who offer Annabelle myriad suggestions, from lower-cut bodices (success!) and sultry gazes (disaster!) to a surprise midnight rendezvous (wicked!). Derek never really took note of his shy, wallflower lady writer. But suddenly she's exquisite, and he can't get Annabelle out of his mind!

I hate it when I start a series with the last book. But this one is so fun and entertaining I will go back and start over from the first. Wonderful romance, driven and real characters. Frustrating relatives, good friends and political intrigue make a well developed story. What goes around comes around and this story takes you full circle. Loved the trip and the final destination. What fun!

Strong men and women. Conflict between clans and within families. A romance that was meant to be but has so many obstacles. Unpredictable, sensual, dark villains, spies and betrayal. Great story and the narrator did it justice. You can get lost in this one.

A blue-eyed innocent on the outside and a shark on the inside, dressmaker Sophy Noirot could sell sand to Bedouins. Selling Maison Noirot's beautiful designs to aristocratic ladies is a little harder, especially since a recent family scandal has made an enemy of one of society's fashion leaders. Turning scandal to the shop's advantage requires every iota of Sophy's skills, leaving her little patience for a big, reckless rake like the Earl of Longmore.

Entertaining and funny. This story will make you smile and sigh. The strong and smart female characters remained feminine. The men were appealing and sensual. The story was unpredictable and fresh. Narrator was excellent. You can loose yourself in stories like this. Historical romance at it's best. So glad this is a series!

This is a great book to read and even a better listen. L. Chase creates a horrid man with whom you sympathize. Then her lady is strong, fearless and completely feminine. This book is heartbreaking and still funny. The romance is sensual. The story is surprising. The narrator is outstanding. Her characters are consistent and her voice easy. She bring the book to life. Can you tell this is one of the very best? Completely enjoyable. More stars please!
