While I disagree with the previous reviewer, one must remember that this is a Novella of the "In Death Series" and is not a true representation of the whole In Death Series. I suggest that a listener start at the beginning with "Naked in Death" and work one's way through the 27.5 book available, before passing judgement on a novella.
Classic Eve Dallas. This installment takes a page from some of the earlier books in the series. The "Unsub" remains a mystery to both Eve and the rest through much of the narrative. My speculations as to the identity of the perpetrator had me chasing red-herrings. I loved it.
The book is engaging and full of spine tingling adventure. Lady Cosair and Archimedes Fox are a delightful pair that make even misfortunes fun.
While I enjoyed this installment, I found that it lakes the action and intensity of the first three books in the fisrst half.
This was a new author for me and I really enjoyed her fast paced pitfall filled adventure. I think that the audio version allows a reader to really experience the characters horror, anxieties and triumphs more vividly.
The revelations of the heroine's origins and Evangeline's story.
I just loved Beezle. Coleen Marlo does an awesome job of voicing the character.
Maddy's first meeting with Azeal.

The way the author depicts the struggles of the shifter community and the prejudices of the human race.
The conflict scenes best depicted the hierarchy of the animal kingdom and how closely the shifter communities resembled it.
The book is a non-stop adventure that gets better as the story progress
Can't wait for Primal Bond (Book 2) to be released in audiobook format.
