I remember watching shows on Easter Island but this book was fantastic as far as the history of the island and how they carved the stones and moved them. It was a great learning experience for me.
Excellent real life story about hoarding and how it affects everyone in the family.
Highly recommend. You sure will start thinking your stuff when you read this.
Cute, easy read. Nice little detective story. I always enjoy these and would recommend.
You really need to know biology to just know what they are referring to. Interesting but got bored after a while. Finished but did not enjoy all that much.
Think that you are not a hoarder huh? Well, we all have too much stuff. A hoarder is not just a person who is on the TV show. Our lives are filled with big houses with stuff we do not need and it takes away from enjoying out lives. We have to work too hard etc. to try to impress neighbors and friends. Lots to be taken in while reading this book.
Not moved but realized when I was growing up we did not have a big house. Nor, did my mom buy me lots of clothes or stuff. All that stuff is not necessary. Really realizing that we sure do not need the stuff and clothes are not all that necessary. Streamlining is needed in our lives.
Typical accounting of an event in history that our government would cover-up
No one in particular. They were all heros
Maybe not in one sitting but for sure wanted to finish
Anybody who likes a men running around killing each other with no story or mystery. No thrills. No plot. I kept waiting for a surprise to happen.
No excitement at all. No mystery. Boring.
Mediocre. Nothing to get me excited.
Who knows. None of them were exciting. Hard time making a connection with any of them.
Don t bother reading his one.
I loved this story. It was a heartwarming story about a great horse and his achievements.
An ordinary horse who was extraordinary.
Not a sad story. I normally don t like to read sad animal stories
How he kept coming back from the fa he was sold to
Yes. I love trivia as well as history. This book delivers on the history of six different beverages. Tea, beer, coffee, coke etc. my favorite was where did beer originate. Coffee too. I think many will be surprised with some of the information in this book.
Listened to it on my way to North Carolina
The first book I read by Clive Cussler I was not impressed. Then I read two more. As I go along I like Isacc more. However, the stories are quite predictable for me and I prefer to have twisted endings. I have been able to figure each one of his books out easily. But, they are easy reading and you do get a bit of learning in with each book. Not my favorite but not the worst books either.
