5 all the way. It has no weakness
The mage. He pokes it up ever ones but, with sly remarks & gets away with it, most of the time.
All the magic fights were good.
Trial of the Spider Queen.
If you like D&D books &/ or the Forgotten Realms Dark Elf books, this is a must read.
It has one major failing, Drizzt Do'Under is to flat & predictable, to be interesting enough to hold the story.
The best parts of all 3 book, are when the other characters are doing things, with Drizzt.
He holds them all together, but they are are much more interesting & entertaining them him.
Drizzt the main/central character, is from an evil race of elves. He is one of the fiew Dark Elves to escape their evil ways & the city he was born in. He makes friends in a distant land, but is still persecuted for his races evil ways.
Drizzt is a fighter for good. He helps his friends & the lands they are in.
If I say more it may turn into a SPOILER :}
His reading is good at times. Some books he does are fair. His voices at times are to similar. This read thow is great.
The interplat between the characters is great: it has many funny, heart felt & touching scenes.
Sellsword & War of The Spider Queen book sets, are much better then these 3 books.
This is an account of 3 books in this series.
Describes every little detail. So that makes the story drawn out & borong.
Ok at best. The voices are way to similar & her tone is hammy.
It's about a new vampire in the modern world. Their's nothing new here, it's predictable & a concept/story that's been told oh so many times. It's a good book to half lissen to & fall asleep to. It wasn't even worth the $ 3.95 I payed for it, don't wast your time or money :}
#1 Good pace & character interplay, with small bits of humor + it has no bla bla filler.
#2 Interesting world story/history.
#3 It talks about magic or has magic use, that is just enough to be good.
Here is a magical world full of factions & people struggling to gain more power or to just survive. The main character is an assin & witch. Most of the other characters use magic & know how to fight or hire those that do. The book is about the assin/witch on an epic job. Not to spoli it tomuch, but the job will deside weather or not a war starts :}
BE WARNED SPOILER HERE & the only weakness the book has: Their is only 1 true fight in the hole book. A book with the main character who is an assin & witch, with other fighter & magic types & IT HAS 1 SHORT GOOD FIGHT !!!
Interest, but frustration & bordom too.
This is a coming of age story about Dragons, from the Dragons perspective, in a fantacy world.
Cut the book in half & it would be great :}
BAD PARTS: #1 The races are nothing new & add nothing new or interesting about them [human, dwarf, elf, ect].
#2 The story in over described & has tomuch nothing filler, that only draws the story out.
GOOD PARTS: #1 Interesting take on Dragons.
#2 When the story isn't drawn out it's good & interesting :}
#3 Good character interplay.
GOOD PARTS >>> Story concept was interesting & imaginative.
Interesting characters & character interplay.
Easy to follow interesting magic concepts & it talks about magic just enough.
Lots of different & creative voices.
POOR PARTS >>> The book is to short & simple.
The story was a bit rushed & thin at times.
Good story that holds your interest.
A different interesting view on the Force, it's use & users [I.E. their are no Jedi or Sith].
The flash backs break up the monotony.
And if you really think about it: you can see where how the Force is used here by good people, it could be dangerious & even evil.
No... Men & women sound pretty good, i'd give her a 4 - 4.5. Voices do meld together a slight bit thow.
Jedi isn't mispronounced, its spelled Je'dali & they ARE NOT Jedi :}
The story, characters, world & magic are all straight foward. It has a good constant pace, that keeps your interest, with little or no filler bla bla BS. It's a comeing of age story, with some magic. I would of liked to of seen a bit more action & magic thow. The end is hard to guess & that's a nice plus :}
Cut the bla bla filler out & get to the story. The story was ok, but it was to thin & full of nothing BS. Every thing was over described. Who really cares if she needs shoes & pants.
Make it about Maul, the Sith & the Force. I wanted to hear about a BAS ASS Sith. I gave up after 3.5 hrs. 30-60 min of that is about Maul & it's bad. His lord ordered him to not use the Force to survive. Why would you right a book about a bad ass Sith & not let him use the Force.
Ya & he is good.
1st book is set up & ok. The series as a hole is surpurb. A must read for action adventure fans. Talks alot about the Force & has the best fight scens :]
