I Am Not Myself These Days follows a glittering journey through Manhattan's dark underbelly---a shocking and surreal world where alter egos reign and subsist (barely) on dark wit and chemicals...a tragic romantic comedy where one begins by rooting for the survival of the relationship and ends by hoping someone simply survives.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would highly recommend this audio book to a friend. And in fact, I already have. I throughly enjoyed the antics and humor in Josh's everyday life. The author and narrator bring life to this memoir.

What other book might you compare I Am Not Myself These Days to and why?

Josh's other book , Bucolic Plaque. His sence of writing is very conversational. I feel like he is sitting around having a conversation with me. His sence of humor and manor come through directly in his writting.

Which character – as performed by Johnny Heller – was your favorite?

Of course Aqua / Josh. The discription and thoughts of both aqua and josh are so excellently detailed, it is like you are there in the room with both of them, living the situation. All the steps to unvail Aqua and her wardrobe is amazing.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The Life of Aqua, the DragQueen

    Any additional comments?

I have already recommended this audio book to a few friends. Josh's sense of humor is addicting to listen too. His antics and lifestyle are a facinating read/listen. I will keep this book and his others to return to for listening again and again. When things get tough just add another layer of lipstick and some fresh water to the fish and march on.

Where does Fifty Shades Freed rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It just keeps getting better with each book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades Freed?

The last few chapters really wrap the book up in a satisfying way. I am very satisfied with this series and how it closes.

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings her own into each character that I would have not gotten through reading it myself. Her vioce and tone fits Anastacia Steel very well. Especially with the inner goddess.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. One sitting would be too much of a good thing all at once. Listening to it is a treat or a reward. Should be savored and appreciated a little at a time.

    Any additional comments?

This is my favorite out of the series. The books build and "climax" to a very satisfying end. I walk away feeling complete and with no separation anxierty of finishing a series. I will return to re-listen to this series with anticipation.

I very much enjoyed the innner struggle that Ana experiences throughout the story and how she takes you on this emotional journey with her.

What did you like best about this story?

The devotion to detail without being vulgar. The descriptions and experiences of Ana and Christian are very well played out. Tastefully written.

i would consider this audio edition to be a little better than the written just for the fact that you are listening to a very well spoken narrator depicted the character to you.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Full Dark, No Stars?

Each story has its own live. I enjoyed each story as it unfolded.

What does Craig Wasson and Jessica Hecht bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

What about Simon Vance’s performance did you like?

I absolutely love his accent and pace. He has great animation and breaths life into each of the characters individually. I would love to hear more of his audio recordings. He is very easy to understand and follow along with.
