This story was OK, not one of my most favored ones. It was somewhat interesting with magic, dragons, shifting and mating. Story needed to be more develop and the story line is week. The book had lots of action, and sometimes hard to follow. Antony Ferguson did very a good job with the narrating.
I got this book on a whim totally out of my norms, but it was a fun ride. I'm unfamiliar with this author but I will be buying more books with his name on it. I only wish that he had more books listed on Audible and that the reader he got read more books that were for sale she didn't incredible job you will not be disappointed the author match the book impeccably with an incredible narrator. Outstanding job I give both of you a bow.
i'm so happy to see a continuation of the MAGERI series, the dynamics of the books are the same the infrastructure of the world remains the same. This is an outstanding book with a great narration and good character development.
if you like the MAGERI series you're in for a treat.
I really like that each of these books focus on a different warrior. That being said, if you have not read Desire Untamed, you will have a hard time following this book. So much happens in the first book that you really need to understand the world that Pamela Palmer has created before diving into this one. While I thought the first book in the series was good, I found this one amazing. I'm not sure if it's because I know more about the Feral Warriors world or if it's simply because I adore Tighe; he is by far my favorite character and OMG look at that cover! Looking forward for the next book, Passion Untamed, so I'm forced to wait. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in paranormal romance and/or about shape-shifters. Pamela Palmer has created a very interesting world and I can't get enough
Rob Shapiro, did a great job in narrated this book:)
I am an urban fantasy addict. Lately, I have been restless and unfulfilled. I'm always desperately looking for new material. Unfortunately the results have been less than stellar and have left me totally disillusioned. So, I decided to take a chance on Mark of the Demon and boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I loved Ms. Rowland's writing style and the quirkiness of the main character, Kara Gillian. It was refreshing to see that the Gillian was not only strong but embraced her vulnerabilities as well. For once in a very long time I did not know who the killer was until the very last minute and was totally shocked and surprised.
Liv Anderson, did an outstanding job narrating this book :)
This book was thrilling and heartwarming story. Great plot because it kept me on the edge of their seat with lots of suspense, drama, action, romance and magic. Christine Feehan brings this fascinating to life with well written scenes and details and well orchestrated and believable action scenes that capture the imagination. I was happy by her ability to grab your attention and doesn't let go and the strong connection to all the charming characters of Sea Haven adds lots of depth to the story.
The chemistry between Max and Airiana radiates strongly, but the relationship will take a lot of work. Maxim doesn't believe he is worthy or that he even knows how to love and his past definitely stands in their way. For such a traumatic past and the sharks circling, Ariana is full of strength and courage and she has enough belief in Maxim for them both.
Christine Feehan brings you into wonderful and magical worlds with all her books and this one is no different. It gives the reader’s everything they could possible want in a story, romance, family, loyalty, community, danger, travel, courage, overcoming adversity, and the mystical and I can’t wait to read the next one.
Phil Giganet is the Best!
Well, Christine Feehan knows something about what women want, and what is the essence of romantic fiction. One man, filled with purpose and integrity and courage, whose entire life centers around one single woman....his lifemate. He would kill for her, die for her. This theme, which is repeated over and over again, is incredibly romantic. It works. It makes for extremely satisfying.
Angala Brazil did a very great job with the narration of this book:)
I'm really likeing this author! I loved this book... the way the author was true to both the female and male here and left them both strong people.... I loved it. Good for you!
There was even a twist I didn't catch till the end because I'm not use to romance novels having such things... bravo again.
Ok so yes I liked the story, the way rules were broken and yet people came together, the way a woman could be strong - brake down yet find her strength again and land on her feet, the way the "strong" men in this series can hang with their women....
Great story line,
I love you Pete Bradbury! you are the best! your voice sexy! sexy!
Really this book fell under the 1 star (did not like it) category, but I reserve my 1 star ratings for books I can't finish, so it eeked up. Let me start this review while saying this book is not horrible, but it is most definitely not for me. Don't get me wrong, I like Paranormal Fantasy, but this is far from representative of what I like about the genre.
In 3 words: stereotypical, predictable, anti-climactic.
Triton is a philandering, sex-maddened sea god. Sophia is a gorgeous woman who of course doesn't trust good looking men because they always cheat on her. He's just been kicked off of Olympus for his philandering, she's just inherited a house she can't afford and a pissed off cousin out to get her.
Triton needs a woman to fall in love with him for something other than his looks. He of course falls madly in love with Sophia, who secretly thinks she's mad because she once saw his father Poseidon in his half-fish get-up. I love mythology, and am an avid Greek mythology fan, but this book doesn't do the gods justice. It captures their shallowness but none of the intrigue, the greatness of the heroes, or the adventure of those myths.
It's every poorly executed romance ever. Boy goes from philandering to suddenly only one girl is for him. She rebukes him, then is suddenly thrust into his company 24/7 and of course falls madly in love. He's madly in love, but thinks he's got in under control. Back and forth as to whether she'll give in to him. He does weird creepy stuff, to hit on her and we're supposed to find it sexy. The word pussy and cock is used a lot. And I mean a lot. I'm not a prude, but it's just annoying. I personally think the word pussy is a particularly horrible term for the female genitalia, it got old quickly.
What a great story!
Another book with the Reapers, Joanna Wyide, did a great job on this book. I usually not happy with two reader but Tatiana Sokolov and Todd Haberkorn, did a really good job.
The story line is good and keeps your interest. If you like bikers, romances, handsome stranger, and women who are not needy or helpless, you will love this book.
