Two-time best-selling Kindle Singles author Mishka Shubaly is back with a dark, intimate, fascinating story of love, hope, and human connection... gone horribly, horribly awry.

The story itself, if true, is very creepy stalker-esque. The author/narrator does an okay job. His voice is monotone, so no intonation during funny or sarcastic moments. He does crack a couple jokes that would be funnier if his voice was more interesting. The story is definitely funnier than probably intended.

Everyone knows confidence when they see it; but seemingly no one can actually describe what goes into it or how to get it. The Nerd's Guide to Being Confident is an unconventional way of looking at one of the most basic and obvious human traits and what one can do to gain a little more of it without feeling like a phony. Laughter included.

Most of the authors facts and recommendations are geared towards men. WHAT ABOUT US FEMALE NERDS? I guess you can always just apply them to yourself, with the exception of scientifically based facts. Otherwise, there are some descent tips to give you a quick confidence boost.

You have to learn somewhere I guess... BUT the 8 lessons are just repetitions of the same lessons within the audiobook. So it's basically just 4 new lessons. Repetition is a must for language learners but no one informed the makers of this audiobook that if the listener wanted to repeat a lesson they can just press rewind. Also, they just teach you the "basics" if you're a tourist, not conversation basics.

I really enjoyed all three installments of the trilogy. Mockingjay was a great listen, the narrator did a wonderful job. On a personal note, because it really is all about personal preference, I wish the ending would have been a little different. Let's just say, it's not your typical "Hollywood" ending. Katniss changes drastically since the first book. I don't want to ruin the book for anyone but she kinda loses her sass. All in all, this is a wonderful story you must read!

I liked all of the Hunger Games books but this one was by far the best. It's the transition between them and that's probably why it's the most exciting and moving. There so much information to grasp it's no wonder they weren't able to capture everything from the book on film. The narrator does such a great job of capturing the audience's attention with her interpretation of the characters. You have to read all 3!

Like most of Flynn's books, it's a great mystery read. The characters are disturbingly dark but that's what makes this mystery a more interesting to read. You might think you see the ending coming but it's that plus a hundred times worse. Also, I'm very picky about narrators but Lee does a great job with all of the characters.

In "Undead Sublet" by Molly Harper, executive chef Tess Maitland is banned from her five-star kitchen in Chicago to recover from "exhaustion". Choosing a random rental house in Half-Moon Hollow to spend time in, she's unaware that the house comes with a strange man. Even though Sam Masden's ex-wife has rented the house out from under him, the divorce settlement allows him access to it for another ninety days. With Tess unable to go anywhere else, and Sam unwilling, a war of epic proportions is declared - and romantic sparks and heavy pots fly.

I got this audiobook for free so I can't complain but it was pretty cheesy. Ball busting chick falls for incredibly hot vampire who likes to press her buttons, obvious drama ensues. A lot of empty dialogue and predictable plot. It's a short listen and I was intrigued enough to finish it, if that helps? The narrator wasn't half bad, it's the story line that's questionable.

  • Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture

From a young age, Andy Cohen knew two things: He was gay, and he loved television. Now presiding over Bravo's reality-TV empire, he started out as an overly talkative pop-culture obsessive, devoted to Charlie's Angels and All My Children - and to his mother, who received daily letters from him while he was at summer camp, usually reminding her to tape the soaps. In retrospect, it's hard to believe that everyone didn't know that Andy was gay; still, he remained in the closet until college. Finally out, he embarked on making a career out of his passion for television.

If you love Cohen's show on Bravo then you'll love this book. That same fun loving personality comes across when he reads. Some part of his story can get too drawn out but for the most part he is very entertaining. Maybe a funny notch below but if you like Tina Fey's Bossypants you will enjoy this book. I thought it was funnier than any of Chelsea Handler's books. Everyone is different so I suggest you listen to the sample, it's pretty indicative of the rest of the feel of the book.
