I used to walk by this book on my mother's bookself and I never picked it up to read. I can't believe my parents read this book in the 60's because it was so far ahead of it's time. In the land of Gandhi, this author writes about his life and the intricate ceremonies, and insights of Hindus. I was blown away, and will continue to return to the book for the stories.
Fantastic story! Horrible Narrator - she just read the book. Grating voice and awful tone.
I laughed out loud at work listening to this book! I am thinking this is my favorite then again I said that about the last book! Tons of room to keep this series going
The characters are wicked and brilliant. Robin is great and full of surprises! The clients are just bizarre - Go Dodo!
The sensitivity and brilliance of the rugby playing chief of police is awesome! Smart man that does not put his foot in his mouth. You cant help but like Bruno and his village. I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading about a man that is does not degrade women but instead loves smart and independent women. Thank you
I love this series! Walker writes women brilliantly. I enjoy the complexity of the characters and the mysteries.
typical take a girl and give her thug qualities - not believable and really boring
A real let down - the characters are ho hum and not believable especially the mother/daughter dynamics or the back ground of the midwife.
Read the book before I saw the movie - prefer the book. Read it at 15 and Ms. Golightly still charms. The movie was tame compared to the book.
I am at work and laughed out loud listening to this book. Loved it!
This book is so crazy. Triggerfish lane is an out of body experience housing over the top personalities that create chaos and murder.
