While the Battle of Kursk has long captivated World War II aficionados, it has been unjustly overlooked by historians. Drawing on the masses of new information made available by the opening of the Russian military archives, Dennis E. Showalter at last corrects that error. This battle was the critical turning point on World War II's Eastern Front. In the aftermath of the Red Army's brutal repulse of the Germans at Stalingrad, the stakes could not have been higher.

Frank J. Habic says: "Rich got ot right"
"An impressive view on a great battle."

If President John Kennedy had survived the ambush at Dealey Plaza in Dallas a half-century ago, what other twists might history have taken? In his meticulously researched novel, Surrounded by Enemies: What If Kennedy Survived Dallas, author Bryce Zabel delivers a supercharged but plausible alternative narrative of the turbulent 1960s after our charismatic president escapes unscathed on November 22, 1963.

I'm sure how to rank it honestly.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Unfinished Lives: What If Our Legends Lived On? Volume 1: John F. Kennedy and Arthur Ashe?

The JFK biography, all of it.

Have you listened to any of Anthony Heald and Paul Winfield ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to Anthony Heald, but not the other. Heald's performance as JFK is impressive.

If you could take any character from Unfinished Lives: What If Our Legends Lived On? Volume 1: John F. Kennedy and Arthur Ashe out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Lyndon Johnson. I'd ask him why he helped JFK out as much as he did.

Based on memoirs, histories, oral histories, fresh reporting, and his own knowledge of the players, the audiobook looked at the tiny hinges of history - and the extraordinary changes that would have resulted if they had gone another way. Now he presents his most compelling narrative of all about the historical event that has riveted us for fifty years. What if Kennedy were not killed that fateful day? What would the 1964 campaign have looked like? Would changes have been made to the ticket?
