The race is on to claim the area between the Ohio River and Tennessee. What's left of the resistance is hiding out in the tangle of central Kentucky hills - leaving the powerful, well-organized Kurian vampires the opportunity to fill the void. Major David Valentine knows there's only one way for them to find help before the Kurians settle in: a desperate dash by hijacked rail, followed by a harrowing river journey. Valentine unites friends old and new in the effort - but the Kurian Order won't easily yield.

World-renowned paleontologist Richard Leyster's universe changed forever the day a stranger named Griffin walked into his office with a remarkable job offer... and an ice cooler containing the head of a freshly killed Stegosaurus. For Leyster and a select group of scientific colleagues, an impossible fantasy has come true: the ability to study dinosaurs up close, in their own era and milieu. But tampering with time and paradox can have disastrous effects on the future and the past alike.

Eddie Drood's evil-stomping skills have come to the attention of the legendary Alexander King, independent agent extraordinaire. The best of the best, King spent a lifetime working for anyone and everyone, doing anything and everything, for the right price. Now, he's on his deathbed and looking to bestow all of his priceless secrets to a successor, provided he or she wins a contest to solve the world's greatest mysteries.

Cliff says: "Several improvements in this book."

WELL WE GO SCREWED ON THE THIRD BOOK. THE FIRST TWO BOOKS WERE GREAT. THE NARRATION WAS BY STUART BLINDER AND WAS INTENSE AND RIVETING AS WELL. NOW THE POWERS TO BE HAVE CHANGED TO JAMES LANGTON. HE IS DULL AND HARD TO FOLLOW. ITS LIKE TRYING TO GET IN TO A BAD BOOK. I WISH I COULD TELL YOU ABOUT THE BOOK ITSELF, BUT DIDNT FINISH THE BOOK
